calling all ts3 players!

as a ts4 player returning to ts3, i find that about half the things i attempt to download suffer from broken links or deleted files. i know that the ts4 community have had a blog dedicated to accumulating lost cc and re-hosting it, but haven’t been able to find an active and easily navigable alternative to that for ts3. would anyone be interested in contributing to that? i don’t have a lot of influence in the ts3 community since ts4 has been my main thing for years, but i’d be happy to set up a sideblog for it if any of you would like to help. ideally i’d need a few people to help run it, but most of all i’d need people who have collected cc that is no longer available and wouldn’t mind sending over the files so it can be re-hosted. proper credit to the original creators would be given of course, and if they ever happen to return and want it taken down, that will be done asap. i’m not looking to do any shady business, i just want to provide something helpful for the community ✌️

seems like a great idea! I know some simmers out there have hosted certain creator’s lost stuff!

I bet a lot of us (I do!) have lost cc which we have all collected over the years, so it would be great to add this to a central place.

I started recover his stuff and I found/ have on my PC over 500 cc. There is a few creaction which I can’t find. Maybe someone has it on PC and can check?? Hey, guys. 

My dog, Red, is very sick. She stopped eating or using the bathroom, and was just laying around. Saturday she woke me up whining and shivering. We rushed her to the emergency vet that day. 

Since then, we’ve been trying to figure out what’s wrong. From an infected uterus to an impaction, to Addison’s disease. They’re running tests to try to figure it out. But most likely, she’s having to undergo emergency exploratory surgery.

This costs almost $1500 so far. I have a smart husband and we had about $300 in savings, but that leaves around $1200. 

Red girl is like my child. She is a member of our family and we love her dearly. She helps me through panic attacks and depressive episodes. I’ve been in and out of crying fits ever since I left her at the vet. 

If you can, please consider donating to help Red or commissioning a pose pack (starting at $5). And if you can’t do those things, please just keep my babygirl in your thoughts and/or reblog this to help raise awareness!

Heavy-hearted right now…… It was hard learning from @simply-mebree​ that you passed away earlier this month, especially the circumstance. I still can’t believe you’re gone…that’s crazy.  We had just talked in October and laughed about the craziness that was going on around simblr.  Good or bad, ups and downs, we fell out and right back in so many times….we’ve been through a lot since we were introduced back in 2006….I swear our arguments were about the most trivial shit but if I could go back and have one now just to bring you back I would do it in a heartbeat. You’ll always hold a special place in my heart Janeen.  Simblr and the sims community as a whole just won’t be the same without you.  Thank you for every single thing you did. For every offer of help, every recolor, retexture, conversion, every mesh edit, everything.  I’ll smile when I think of you and our start on RealSims and SimsUrbania and that good ol Insimsenator lol and I’ll forever cherish my memories of you and the crazy shit your mind would conjure up when it came to your sims and stories. Thank you for the laughs and for always keeping it 100 and staying true to you.    

@mochasims @simply-mebree  @cinamun  @iplaysims4 @iplaysims4 SU was one of my second homes for The Sims. I was a late bloomer when it came to joining the community for everything Sims. I didn’t know that the Sim community was so big and that there was soooo many people that enjoyed the same game that I do until I actually got in tune.  I started seeing other Simmers posting these Sims that looked and dressed like me. I wondered where they got them from and started to search for “urban clothes” or “black Sims” and BAM! SU came up. I was excited to see a site that was so dedicated to black culture with this hood twist to it. I felt at home  So i created an account.  The members was nice, Welcoming and friendly. Before I knew who was who on the board I immediately took to @mochasims​ because of them DOPE ass stories she posted on the site. I mean…the girl is bad when it comes to storytelling and bringing her characters to life. Mocha knew how to bring my emotions out and have me yelling at my monitor. I used to mess with her like, “Are you Wahida Clark?” cause that was the only person that could get my emotions all over the place from reading her stories.  "Men In Stilettos"  will always be a fav of mines. We bonded and built a close friendship. We laughed at the crazy things going on in the community and we would chat for hours! I ‘am deeply saddened by the news I received. @applekissims reached out to me to let me know that she has passed away. I’m trying to hold back tears as I type this. Mocha was Sassy and straight to the point, she was very helpful when it came to finding things related to Sims. If you didn’t understand something, she would help you understand be it her own words and experience to giving you links to sites that could help you understand. I’m trying not to make this long. Not being able to see her pop in every once in a while is going to be weird. From the laughter to chats, her stories and lots that she build to her clothes that she shared and MOST OF ALL the motivation she gave me to post my Video’s 😟 because I was always so nervous to do those things, you will be truly and dearly missed @mochasims Rest in Paradise my friend ❤️
