Hi! Firstly, thank you for checking on me, and for the love. I’m not around anymore but IG was indeed the right person to check on me (also what do you mean we only see each other now and again? We talk almost every day; doesn’t that count for something?)

The general update of my life is I’m working full time, with people between the ages of 1 and 105, running writing groups, chairing two boards, while also juggling being a mom of two. It’s a lot but I’ve always liked being busy so it’s *mainly* better for my mental health (except for when extra random things happen and then I go to bed at 8 and sleep for 10 hours).

Also, apparently I still write a ton of gay subtext accidentally so my fanfic writing days will never abandon me.

but I’m good! I think! Maybe ask me again on a day when I didn’t need extra sleep and I’m more aware of my own name and how Tumblr works!

I hope you all are well if you’re reading this. I look back on my time in the fandom fondly and honestly it was really formative for me and made me a lot of who I am today. I will always the thankful for the people, much of the circumstance, and all it meant for making me me 🥰

Ottawa Show 2: Or, Harry is the sweetest kindest human being and I love him a lot

I’m going to do a proper report later, on the whole show, but I’m really struggling to put my thoughts all together because I have a lot of them, so I want to focus on this first.

I’d been trying to get Harry’s attention in a variety of ways all show, and not having much success. He’d been near me, very near me, but was either looking past me or had things on his mind or was too hyper to really read a full sign. I was a little disappointed, to be honest, even though I was having a great time, just because I love him so much and he was interacting with so many people but not me.. He definitely saw me though, and he absolutely came back to me at the end of the show with intention, I’m sure of it.

During Little White Lies, (so, the second last song of the concert), he came over to me, and my sign was in my hand but it wasn’t raised at all. He kind of stood still, and looked down, and met my eyes, and he kind of gestured, so I lifted the sign up so he could read it, 

and he so clearly, clearly did, and when he finished looking at it, he just met my eyes, and it’s so hard to describe, but he was so sincere when he looked at me, and he just blew me a kiss after that and it was just so so sweet and I could tell he really cared. My eyes just kind of started streaming and I was super overwhelmed, obviously. It was just like an instant reaction, I guess, because this really means so much and I didn’t expect it, and I think he noticed, because he grabbed an old water bottle from the stage (that was half empty, lol. It was Louis’ from before but I don’t know if Harry knew that) and kind of shook it over us, so half the water on my face was Louis water, and half was tears so that was cool.

But honestly, he was just so so sincere and I don’t have any words for how sweet he was, and he grabbed another rainbow Canadian flag just a few moments later during BSE, and I just have to say Harry is really important and I love him with my whole heart, and he loves with his whole heart too.

It’s been three years since this birthday call to Harry - let’s never let it, or his adorable, polite self, die. :) Happy Birthday :)

Happy New Years from OG!

Hiiii everyone. :) very very long time no talk. I’m sorry I left you all at a time of fandom peril (right when hiatus started) but I think of you all fondly and honestly the fandom was in many ways so so good for me - I grew, I learned, I accepted myself….Harry looked me in the eyes…I followed the band around their tour for four consecutive shows l, and I had a ton of fun. No regrets, and there never will be any!!

IG has been bugging me to post a life update, and after my lovely Dani’s shout out too, I guess I should say something. 2017 has been by far the craziest year of my life - I got engaged, AND married, we bought a house, adopted a dog, and wildly enough, I’m pregnant too. You’ll be pleased to know that my husband is fairly short, and has blue eyes, so I’m praying for a Larry baby - little and adorable, with blue eyes and luscious curls. It’s possible. I’ll let you know. Unfortunately it means I have to miss the Harry concert I have tickets to in June, but he would forgive me if he could kidnap my first born. We will see.

All my beliefs and feelings about the fandom remain the same, and I wish you all the love in the world. I hope 2018 is a wonderful year for you all, and please know I think of you all with love 💜💜💜
