I am a die-hard William Shatner fan since I was 10 years old, from the very moment when I watched my first Star Trek episode in 1972. William Shatner is a great actor. For me the best actor and not only because of Star Trek.He has starred in so many movies and tv shows and showed to us his great acting skills and techniques. For 40 years he has a place in my heart and mind. I learned a lot from Captain Kirk when I was young and thinking of him has helped me in many difficult situations. Yes I know that Kirk is not a real person, but William Shatner has breathed live into the Kirk character. I think there is much of Shatner in Kirk ;) Thank you Mr. Shatner for all you have given me and I have only one big desire, which is, to meet you in person once in my lifetime. I am also a big Fan of Star Trek TOS, DS9 and Voyager and I´d like to know all about the universe and the miracle of life. Rewatching Court Martial today. It’s amazing how much I enjoy watching TOS no matter how many times I’ve seen it. Also I’ve watched way more of Bill’s shows in 50s and 60s now since last time I’ve seen this episode, and now watch it again, especially the scene when he’s been questioned on court, it feels so much like Kirk’s a combination of all his previous roles: the only son’s rebellion from Route 66, the prosecution lawyer’s sense of justice from Defender and For the People, soldier’s stubbornness and belief in system, ladies’ man’s romanticism and naiveness from so many shows…etc. Reminding me of something he said before, that all of the shining points in his career were results of all the “yes” he said before that connected together. So true.

It was only a matter of time before I drew another silly Star Trek fan art. I just can’t stay away from Leonard’s beautiful blue eyes ;_;

This is sort of an odd mix of AOS and TOS though, since I don’t think TOS McCoy went to the Academy…but whatever. It’s just supposed to be funny. :’D Bear with me, I’m new.
