“Well girl, that hurts.” Lee pouted ever so slightly, then smiled brightly. “Oh I do pride myself on remaining that way.” He jokingly winked and continued
behind her.
“I’m really starting to regret worrying about you, kid.”
“You’re very noble, aren’t you?” She stepped back, and dropped her hand from him. She was smiling a little, before it faltered at what he said. “You know what, go get squished.” Now, she laughed, and placed her hands on her own sides. “Come on jokester, let’s get going before I push you down the staircase myself.”
“When people matter to me, yes.” The man stated, smiling back and then noticing her changed expression. “Where’d all the care go?” He chuckled ever so slightly. “After you.”

Jane had picked up her notepad that held key components in her work. Though, she couldn’t stay focused on it as she looked back at up, glancing slightly towards the door to watch him go. He seemed nice enough, she doubt there would be any problems between them. Pacing her work environment, she tried to estimate the time it would take for him to return. “Shit..” Placing her work down, she worriedly walked after him. “E-Excuse me!” Taking his shoulder, she stopped him. “You know, that power unit is gonna be super heavy, and I’d hate to have you die trying to get it for me. Why don’t I tag along and make sure nothing goes wrong…” Jane paused, and went over her words, making sure she didn’t accidentally say anything offensive towards him. “Not that I’m saying you’re not strong or clumsy!” Quickly she added, and coughed nervously. “Just gotta watch out for each other..”
Because she wasn’t in range at the moment, he was going to simply teleport to it and then teleport back and act like he was just fast. But then he heard the woman, and turned after she took his shoulder. “I feel it’s worth dying trying to help someone, but it’s alright. I get it.” He paused, if only she realized he could only die of old age. “I was gone a few seconds and my company was already missed.” He teased, joking.

"No problem, no problem at all.” He smiled back before he was actually out of the room. “Don’t worry, I’ll be back. You can count on that.” He said, chuckling at her teasing before heading to the 8th floor.
