Headcanon about the Music Meister:
Not only is his singing voice hypnotic, it’s highly addictive. The same frequencies that give his voice power also cause the brain of his target(s) to produce dopamine and seratonin; this makes it so they’re not only more willing to obey MM’s orders, but that it’ll be easier to entrance them the next time.
Often times, previous targets will experience mild withdraw symptoms, though there have been cases where more extreme symptoms have developed, though this seems to be caused by long-term exposure to MM’s voice.

Depending on how long one of his targets was under his control for, there’s a lingering ounce of hypnosis after he’s released them. Hearing a very familiar song in their sleep, but never being able to put a name to it and forgetting it upon waking. Humming it without realizing under their breath. Singing it in the shower. Feeling super at peace and just content while humming it, and when they’re interrupted or realize they don’t know what they’ve been humming, are engulfed by extreme paranoia and detachment.
And then, if perchance they ever hear his tune again, they’re more than compliant, but are practically begging to be under his sway again, throwing themselves at his feet.
