WARNING FULL ON SMUT IN THIS STORY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Red eye’s open wide as he continued to stare up at Levy in shock, he didn’t even bother to fight against Laxus’s grip as he pulled up from his kneeling posting to stand on his own two feet. While he could feel himself moving backward and the noise of the audience filling the room but all he could focus on was only Levy. Only when Levy pushed the end of the nightstick into the chest, so his back met the metal of the chair did he notice the situation that he was currently in now. Both of his wrists were now individually cuffed to the arms of the chair. “Why?” That was the only word that fell from his lips, Levy just smiled before walking around the back of the chair, the nightstick dragging across his chest.

“Don’t you remember?” Leaning forward to whisper into Gajeel’s ear so he could hear her over the screams and whistling from the crowd. “You did ask if you could see me dance.” Placing a light kiss right under his ear, enjoying as he sucked in a deep breath. “Now you get to see.” Levy took a step back away from him as she walked back around to the pole to the side of the stage.  She can see his frustration at being handcuffed all over his face, but even so, his eyes never moved away from her, almost curious at what she was going to do.

The black heels clicked against the floor, nightstick twirling in one hand while she slid her free hand against the cold metal. Looking over to her left, Levy could see Laxus standing off to the side of the stage still acting out his part. “Officer Dryer, you are dismissed.”

A New Life

Even after all these years, Gajeel doesn’t think he deserves happiness and considers fighting and protecting the ones he loves the only thing he’s good for. Luckily, he now has a family that reminds him there’s so much left to enjoy about life.

Gajeel’s birthday takes a turn from sweet to saucy when he finds an odd costume in Levy’s drawer. The mood was already hot, and a revelation about a mission during their council days turns things up to eleven. In a sea of drinks and skin, Gajeel watches another side of his wife unfurl, and she wants to tease him within an inch of his sanity.

Comfortable

Gajeel pushed her back against the door as it swung shut. His breath was hot against her neck, laced with whiskey from their adventures earlier that evening. Grabbing Levy’s ass, he lifted her up and spun her around. She wrapped her legs around his waist, giggling as her feet touched the floor. Gajeel spun her again, and they danced around the living room in what felt like a tipsy dream. Falling onto the couch, they sighed collectively; it had been quite the evening already. Levy propped her chin up on his chest and leaned in for a soft kiss.

“Happy birthday, Gajeel.”

Every time she said his name his heart fluttered. Levy giggled, kicking her feet into the air. The motion sent one of her shoes flying, but tonight she didn’t mind. Something else held her every thought. Biting the corner of her lower lip, she traced shapes against her husband’s chest; the anticipation she’d held back all night ready to bubble over.

“You know what I wanna do?” Levy said coyly. “I wanna get out of all these layers—and into something a little less comfortable.” Her fingers rubbed the hem of her skirt. “Let’s play a little game.” Sitting up, she motioned to the bedroom. “You go pick out something special that you like from my drawer—anything you want—and I’ll go mix us a few more drinks.” Without giving him a second to react, Levy hopped off his chest and sauntered into the kitchen. Gajeel stared agape as she walked away. The game—the one he’d been waiting for since they left on their date—was afoot.

Gajeel practically skipped, giddy as the first time he’d kissed her, into their bedroom and made a beeline for the drawer he knew Levy was alluding to. It was the one closest to the floor—where she kept her more intimate items. He rummaged for something special to commemorate the evening. Each set made him smile fondly; sweaty memories played in his head as he took out the various pieces. Colors and smells flashed through his mind, each as distinct and vibrant as the lingerie that elicited them.

Gajeel’s fingers brushed against an unfamiliar fabric wadded up in the back corner of the drawer. Curious, he pulled out the small bundle. This wasn’t Levy’s usual style but it was oh so sexy, and yet, he couldn’t recall seeing it before. He took a longer sniff—still nothing. His wife loved showing off her lingerie to him, and it was irksome that he could not remember this set. Gajeel returned to the living room with the costume in hand.

“Hey, Lev. These new? I can’t seem to remember them, and I know I would remember something like this.”

Levy looked up from her cocktail shaker and her eyes went wide as she recognized the bundle of fabric. A rosy hue sprouted across her cheeks. This time, it had nothing to do with the alcohol.

Lost.

He felt completely and utterly lost. Usually he was brimming with confidence, but as he lays awake alone in his bed, he slips away to his shadows.

The past few months have left him with confused thoughts and wondering what to make of their situation. It was true, Levy and him had shared a kiss. Not out of affection for each, but to play a part on a mission they were on.

And since that day, months ago, it hadn’t been spoken. No, she refused to talk about it and so did he. They went about their days working side by side as if it didn’t happen. Maybe she was too stubborn to admit her feelings, or maybe he was.

“I ain’t stubborn” he grumbled.

“Yes you are.”

“Shut Up Lily!”

“Maybe I am.” He thought to himself, making sure the black cat at the end of his bed didn’t put in his opinion.

So what if he got lost in her eyes every time they connected with his. Or if he sprouted a blush when their shoulders touch, maybe he didn’t care when he watched her read, her delicate eyes scanning the pages and reciting the information using that captivating voice. Sure he liked the sight of her blue locks blowing freely in the summer time breeze or tied back in a floral headband. He couldn’t blame himself for eyeing her in those short dresses, the ones that fit her so well or her addicting laugh.

What if she was like a hidden waterfall, only the worthy would be able to find her, to bask in her beauty and dine with the goddess that was Levy McGarden, he was good enough right?

He was done being lost. Finished with begging for answers in the night when he knew the destination he wanted to go towards. Sighing he closed his eye, ready to start a new quest, the quest towards the hidden waterfall, behind those aqua waves held a heart, a heart he wanted to love.

He couldn’t stop the nerves piling up inside him, anxiously awaiting her arrival into the guild hall. He turned his head for the thousandth time, seeing if the person he wanted would be walking through, and she was. Quickly he rushed towards her, taking her hand and heading out towards the back where the forest grows deep.

“Gajeel-” She yelled with surprised as she was using her feet to keep up with the strong man. They stopped when they were far away from everyone and even the good hearing type. “What are we doing out here.” She huffed. Her pout was adorable and he had to turn to stop the blush creeping on to his face, but he doubted she could see it from down there.

“I’m done being lost Shrimp.”

“L-lost?” She questioned, a puzzling look adored her face.

“So I got feelings for you, big deal. It doesn’t matter.” He looked away.

Her eyes widened. “Feelings for me?” She pointed to herself.

“Like I said its no big deal.” He tried to play cool. She knew this is how he would deal with his feelings and she would be lying if she had thought about him too.

“Well maybe I have feelings for you too.” She crossed her arms. mimicking his pose and looked away, her face turning red at the sudden realization of her confession. “Like you said, its not a big deal.”

They stood next to each other in silence before looking at the other. He flashed her a smirk, making her grumble and blush as she walked back to the guild hall.

“You owe me dinner tonight.” She called back and he let out a laugh.

Instead of feeling lost, he felt right at home.

WC #42: Gajevy

Prompt: Auto Shop Hearts

Pairing: Gajevy/ Gale

This is dedicated to the lovely @what-makes-me-feel-better who is absolutely adorable and extremely nice :)

———

“No, no, no. Not again!” Levy sighed and hit her head against her steering wheel, making it honk the horn.

Her engine light in her beat up powder blue car came on for the fourth time this summer. She loved her little bug car but it was a worn and torn hand me down from her older brother that had seen better days. The auto shop down the road now knows her by name due to the amount of fixes and dollars she had dropped on them.

Rolling her eyes, she pulled out of her drive way and to the small shop, one ran by the dad of an old high school classmate.

As she pulled into the shop a man with thick black hair walked up to her window, smiling as he saw the blue hair and red rimmed glasses.

“Levy! It’s only been a few weeks.” He laughed. She shrugged and stepped out of the car, tossing him her keys. “It will only take an hour, you can wait inside where it’s nice and cool.”

“Thanks Mr. RedFox.” She smiled and walked into the small shop, paying the woman at the desk before pulling up a chair and relaxing.

The window inside connected to the shop, letting her see the view of the men and woman working on her car. She would be lying if she didn’t enjoy coming to the auto shop. For standing outside and leaning over her car was her high school crush, Gajeel RedFox.

He always worked on her car, his jet black hair pulled into a bright head band, matching her own, and his extremely ripped body was no secret in his sleeveless tank. She had heart eyes on him at all times, but she doubted he would ever like a girl like her. She wasn’t a bad ass who rode motorcycles and had cool piercings. Instead she was a quiet book worm who would sit at the beach alone then go to a dance with her friends.

Gajeel snuck a look through the window. Levy McGarden was sitting in the lounge, a place she had frequently visited. She was the only customer that had his attention and he may have done half ass work on her car in order to keep her coming back just so he could catch glances at her beauty.

“Gajeel just ask her out already.” His partner Juvia said. She handed him a wrench and raised her eyebrows. “Juvia thinks you are a pussy.”

“I’m not a pussy water works, she wouldn’t want a guy like me.” He watched as Juvia rolled her eyes.

“Juvia knows she likes you, she has told me at a sleep over you dumbass.” She snatched the wrench back and pushed him towards the door. She flung it open and threw him in, but before he could protest, Levy made eye contact with him and Juvia already prepared her speech.

“Hey Levy, Gajeel here wants to ask you on a date this Friday night and your car is ready.” She smiled and then slammed the door, making sure he couldn’t escape.

Gajeel stood frozen in place, avoiding Levys big doe eyes.

“Is this true?” Levy spoke, hoping and praying this wasn’t some sick joke. She watched as he turned towards her, fixing his posture and rubbing the grease from his hands on his pants.

“If ya want.” He said, making her smile falter a little bit. Stupid. He thought to himself. Ask her for real. “I mean, do you wanna go out on Friday? With me.” His eyes searched her face for an answer.

“Friday it is.” She smiled and took the keys from his hands. “Oh and stop doing half ass work on my car. It’s sweet that you want me to come back but I should have to pay to see your face.” She winked and walked out of the shop leaving him with a deadly smirk.

She may not be motorcycles and ashes but she was full of spirit and had a fire to her, his cup of tea.

Magnetic Attraction

What’s up peeps? Two updates in one week. Yall are lucky ducks. Here is my companion fluffy piece to my more angsty piece, Desperate Words. This one is set earlier in the same timeline, so part 2, prequel, who knows? I had a ton of fun coming up with how Levy discovers the power, and what she’ll do with it once she does. Once again, I’m back to my cant write anything under 1k self. Things do get steamy at the end…so i’mma drop that NSFW just so you know. I hope yall enjoy. As always, leave me a comment, reblog, tag, whatever you want to interact so I know what yall like.

Pairing: Gajevy

Prompt: Fluff scenario insp by art

Length: 2k

Consumed by research, Levy slowly loses touch with reality until a bolt of lightning opens her mind to a new facet of magic. Inspiration strikes her like a force of nature, and she’s determined to play with the fundamental properties of attraction. Her plans take a sudden turn when Levy arrives home to a hungry Gajeel, who shows her she’s more eager to experiment than she’d thought.

Magnetic Attraction

The last drops of a storm thumped against the roof of the guildhall as Levy sat inside, scanning lines from a tome filled with a language long lost. Her next job with Gajeel would be in the region where the book had been unearthed, and Levy was sure she’d find the script scattered across the area. The strokes of the words drew her in, almost ethereal in nature, whispering in her mind that there was a mystery hidden beneath the surface of the ink. Ancient magic, knowledge, something important was buried in those words, if she was smart enough to interpret what they were left behind to say.

BOOM.

A clap of thunder shook the guildhouse. Levy’s bones rattled from the vibration, and for a fleeting moment, it felt like a bomb had gone off inside her chest. Dread gripped her heart. Instinctively, Levy hunched over the weathered pages of her book. Time stretched on for what felt like minutes instead of seconds while panic overtook her every sense.

A breath later, it was over. Levy’s composure returned, and she looked up to see the Thunder Legion stand illuminated by a bolt of lightning at the door. Fear evaporated from her skin. The book wasn’t in danger.

Electricity crackled around Laxus as he lowered his fist, absorbing the last tendrils of power from the shock. Their group lumbered in, shaking off the rain. They were no more than a few steps into the guild when a small, shining object smacked Laxus in the face.

“Freed,” he groaned, peeling the offending coin from his cheek, “do the thing. I don’t feel like getting shot at by nails for the next half hour. Ever, you may wanna—”

She had already fled to the bar. No amount of loyalty to Laxus would keep Evergreen nearby when her hair was at risk of frizzing.

“Wooohooo! That last strike was pretty big, eh, boss?” Bickslow laughed, his already eccentric hair even wilder than usual. “Maybe you’ll get a special someone to notice you now that you’ve got a magnetic personality.”

A single hit sent him sprawling into his babies. “Pipe down, I’m tired.”

Laxus trudged toward the bar as Freed hurried behind, lifting his sword in an all too familiar incantation. Runes flashed around the lightning mage and dispersed in a burst of purple. Relief washed over Laxus, and he thanked his comrade with a tired smile. For now, he would be free of little flying pieces of metal.

Levy’s mind ran wild as she watched them. Inspiration coursed through her veins. There could be so many useful ways for Gajeel to wield this property if she just understood how it worked. Why hadn’t she considered it before? Without thinking, Levy grabbed Freed’s sleeve as he passed her table.
