Today is one of the saddest days in our lives. Merle Haggard, our musical hero passed on his 79th birthday. He was the reason I started writing songs and moved to Nashville. After hearing the "Big City" record I knew that that was what I wanted to do. It just spoke to me and my life would be changed forever. -keifer We spent years playing in Honky Tonks and Merle's music made up much of our set. We believe that he was the greatest singer/ songwriter who has ever lived. This picture is the first time Keifer met Merle backstage at "The George Jones and Friends Show". Keifer never played that guitar again after that night. The world will miss Merle but his music will truly live forever. Thank you Mr. Haggard. Keifer and Shawna
