     ”Hey, you look a bit lost. Can I help you get somewhere?”

❝ Oh, no I'm not lost. I'm just sort of wandering. Traveling's kind of my thing. ❞         Well, Terra supposed she was lost in a way. She had no idea where she was, but this was how it was most of the time. She never bothered to ask, but it would be nice to know her location.

❝ But, do you mind telling me where I am? ❞

{ ♔ } —— ”STOP LOOKING AT ME AND I COULD ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING!”

Tamaki’s hands flew over to hide the opening in his pants. Oh, he wanted to curl up under a rock and never see light again. He was mortified by this.

“WHY ARE YOU STILL LOOKING AT ME?!”

❝ Well, usually when you're having a conversation with someone, it's polite to make eye contact. ❞         She stated matter-of-factly.

❝ I'll just turn around now and let you fix your little problem. Actually, it's probably best if I just walk away. You seem kinda busy with your whole mental breakdown thing... ❞

{ ♔ } —— ”I AM SO EMBARRASSED I COULD DIE, MISS! I. COULD. DIE.”

            He is just sort of flipping his lid. That’s a normal thing though. 

❝ All these formalities really aren't needed, just call me Terra. And you still haven't zipped up your fly. ❞

        She should not be receiving amusement from this, but his overreaction was far too entertaining. Did everyone in Japan act this way?

{ ♔ } ——”DON’T LOOK AT ME, PRINCESS! I BEG OF YOU!”

❝ Please don't call me 'princess'. ❞         She got enough of that at home. One of the many reasons why she ran away in the first place.

❝ It's totally cool, dude. I was just trying to save ya from less embarrassment. ❞

"Are you sure?" The boxes were heavy and he didn’t want her to get hurt any further, but she seemed happy to help.  

"Well, if you insist."Alfred opened the trunk of his car, revealing multiple boxes he needed help getting inside the manor. He handed her one of the smaller ones for starters. "Thank you, miss." 

❝ Yeah, I've got a build made for lifting! ❞ She jokingly flexed a rather slender arm. Waiting patiently a mere few inches behind him, she watched as he revealed the contents in the trunk, and held her arms out. ❝ Lead the way, Sir! ❞ Terra piped, following him to their destination. ❝ I'm Terra, by the way. Are you like some kind of servant or something? ❞ Was the term 'servant' demeaning? Probably.

{ ♔ } ——"…Eh…What…What d-did you..say?”

❝ I said your fly's down, pretty boy. ❞

"I’m human, aren’t I? I’m finally out of Gotham again with my own friends, let me gossip.”

He didn’t even dignify Terra’s childish response with a reaction. He’d got the retraction he was looking for and Terra - however belatedly and through however much blackmail - had her pizza. Game over. Point to Robin.

"Oh, I know all about living up to parents’ legacies. My parents—” No, hold up, that subject was off limits. As much as he’d love to make comparisons involving trapeze sets and Big Tops and glitzy costumes, a situation that unique would practically scream his secret identity right in Terra’s face.

"—Well, Wonder Woman’s been dropping by the Batcave a lot lately. I’m not allowed to bring girls over but apparently Batman can.” Was that a bitter edge to his voice? Not at all. He just wanted to show Starfire the giant robot dinosaur they had there; was that too much to ask? “I swear, if I walk in on anything I’m relocating to Jump City permanently.”

❝ Really? You're human? And here I was under the impression that you were part Sasquatch or something! ❞

        She feigned shock before tossing the last piece of crust in her mouth. At Robin's next words, Terra perked up a bit, only to be let down by the sudden subject change. It was rare for anyone to discuss their past in the tower. It was always an unspoken subject that did not seem to bother anyone. Even Terra kept quiet about the life she left behind in Markovia. This did not mean that she wasn't curious to hear about what the others were like before becoming Titans. She knew Robin lived with Batman, but she assumed he wasn't the boy's father. It was useless dwelling on questions that will never be answered, and Terra in no way wanted to seem like she was prying.

❝ That's 'cause he's the adult, kiddo. Maybe he'll let you have a playdate when you hit puberty. Or you could have an awesome party there when he's away doing bat-business. Who wouldn't wanna go to a party at the Batcave? ❞

          Ｐerhaps he should have chose a location a bit further being as this was one of those infamous ‘once in a lifetime’ chances. Then again, who could pass up a trip to Taco Bell on a hovering boulder? Definitely not him. The occasional jerks & yanks along the way weren’t much worth complaining about. He just assumed it was just as side-effect of gliding midair. « Don’t worry about it. » The glint of a vividly purple sign caught the youth’s eye & immediately the subject of ‘wind resistance’ was forgotten. « Hell yeah! I can’t wait, I’m so hungry. That’s fine by me. You can have whatever you want, just keep in mind I’m not a millionaire. »

        She was prepared to park on the outskirts of the parking lot, but a much better thought popped into Terra's head. ❝ Hey, instead of going inside, let's hit up the drive thru, then we can find a cool spot to just chill and eat. ❞ Maybe it was just because she wanted to see the look on the workers' faces when they pulled up to the window, or the fact that Terra's current hygienic status made her less than presentable for even the shabbiest of fast food restaurants. ❝ You're gonna have to order though. Language barrier. I'm cool with just like five tacos.... and nachos! Oh, and those twisty cinnamon stick things! And a large Coke! ❞ Terra had not eaten a full meal in quite some time, but she noticed that her request did in fact seem like a lot for someone who was not a millionaire.

❝ Eheh, actually, like two tacos and a small Coke is fine. ❞ She pulled up the speaker.

 ”Aw c’mon, Terra! We just bought a  new video game and we need more  one more player!”

❝ I don't know... I– ❞

        Terra had been in some kind of funk today, but maybe that was something a brand new video game could fix.

❝ Alright, but you're gonna regret asking me to play when I completely annihilate you. ❞

          Ａt her initial statement, he was certain he’d be denied. However, upon her agreement, the male’s eyes lit up, practically shining as bright as her own when the floor beneath his feet shook & began to rise. « Whoa… » The lift knocked him to his knees, palms dug into the dirt to better steady himself.

                  Amazing. Absolutely amazing — was there another word more fitting?

                  « Uh… » A once in a lifetime chance. Where would he choose? « How about the nearest Taco Bell? »

                  Perfect.

❝ I like the way you think. ❞ It was difficult to mask the sigh of relief escaping her lips. She was expecting a destination much further and harder to navigate. If Terra stayed close to the ground and stayed at an average speed, they might just make it alive. Flying was usually no trouble at all, but maybe it was the thought of flying with a passenger that caused the ride to be a bit more bumpy than usual.

❝ Sorry about that. Wind resistance is a bitch. ❞ She lied, lowering the vehicle when a shining Taco Bell sign was spotted. ❝ But I guess it'll be worth it when you're diving into some Doritos Locos tacos. Oh, dinner's on you, by the way. Think of it as payment for gas money. ❞

Okay so how the heckdid I even get passed like… two followers? I was very hesitant about this blog at first because even though Marcy may be my favorite  by far, I honestly didn’t think I’d stand a chance. But here I am! The feeling that I actually mean something to someone, and that I can put a smile on someone’s face just by talking to them… It’s a great feeling. I have yet to have a bad experience on here, and it means a lot. Thank you thank you thank you nerds.
