I gotta admit I’ve considered playing again, but I’ve heard all about how the game is so overrun with bots that I can’t imagine it’s remotely enjoyable now. Which is a huge shame. This game launched me in so many ways and connected me with some really great people. It’d be great to see it get some love from Valve again.

Beating the previous record holder by almost a year and a half, this post is now the oldest TF2 post I’ve found. I literally looked like a little kid when this was posted.
The previous record holder was askwanker , with their earliest post being sometime around August 2011. This post by fuckyeahthescout somehow managed to blow that out of the water by a whole year! That’s amazing! The amount of deactivated blogs and long reposts I’ve had to sift through to get to this post is pretty bizarre too. There’s so much stuff on this blog. But I couldn’t have been happier to go through this blog! Even if it’s 02:24 right now.
Congratulations, fuckyeahthescout. You are the oldest remaining TF2 blog I have found. Please don’t ever deactivate, because you are a piece of important fandom history and you hold the last copies of hundreds of pieces of fanart from lost artists among the fandom. You’re awesome! Thank you!
