Okay, the unfunded part isn’t great, but the mandate absolutely is.
But the GOP mindset is so poisoned that they’re incapable of admitting something suggested by a Democrat is good. Especially if it requires regulations.
He's also lying about the unfunded part.
"The White House said Tuesday’s announcement includes $3.2 billion for what’s known as the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund that can be used for upgrades to water treatment plants, water distribution and piping systems, and lead pipe replacement. It also includes $1 billion for seven major rural water projects and $1 billion in support for Great Lakes drinking water projects."
Since it wasn't mentioned yet: The majority of kids who experience lead poisoning are Black, because decaying lead pipes are often found in disinvested cities with large Black populations. Politicians who oppose replacing lead pipes do so, in my opinion, because they don't feel that protecting Black children is "worth it."

SHIVERS: High against the sky, above Terminal B, two silhouettes sat on a crane. The sea wind seemed to want to tear those small figures off, carry them away from the heavy breath of the harbour and endless shipping containers -- but it couldn’t even stop them from enjoying a cigarette.
Made in collaboration with @sygneth, who does real magic is responsible for bringing dockworkers to life and all the beautiful animated objects in this scene as well! And I am responsible for sketching and colouring all that is still.

SHIVERS: The world is slowly waking up, shaking off the remains of the night. The wind plays with the nets, hanging from the railing on the pier, carrying the smell of freshly burned wood far, far away from the inhabited areas. Somewhere in the distance, a shutter opens with a loud creak. The village comes to life once more.
Nearly a year ago I asked if anyone wants to make an art collab with me, and one of the people who volunteered was @amrehmar who proposed to make an animation one. I did the line art, she put the beautiful colours on and I added the animated parts and here we are! I hope y'all will like it just as much as I do.

vampirism poses the question "what if there was a fundamental, horrible, unending well of want in your soul that, if truly satisfied, would lead to great pain for all those you hold closest and, in turn, their absolute and total revilement of you?" and naturally as a person with no problems I don't relate to this in any way at all.
vampirism also poses the question "what if someone you loved, through no fault of their own, needed something from you, and giving it to them and seeing them happy provided you the greatest joy, and you were the only one who could do it, but at the same time it was slowly draining all your life out of you?" which is also a completely unrelatable idea to me because I'm a normal person with no issues.
