I’m resurrecting myself from the dead for a bit to give you an important announcement. My friend and I have been writing a comic for the past year and a half and we wanna spread the word. We set up a Kickstarter to help us fund the next few issues and for us to keep going with the project. It would really mean a lot to us if you check us out, share this post, and tell your friends!
Here’s a little bit about our comic for those that are interested!
Jasper Cross is 20 years old and completely clueless about his future. When a traveling circus comes to town, he joins in hopes of making money and figuring his life out along the way. Starting out as a stagehand, he meets a colorful yet overbearing cast of characters, making friends out of some and enemies out of others. But as time passes, the joyful circus facade fades away and Jasper is exposed to a grim institution rife with corruption. The back stage of the circus tents harbor as much sex, drugs, and drama as the average seedy rock ‘n’ roll venue.
But there is something much deeper, much more sinister behind it all– and as tragedy strikes during a fatal performance act, Jasper needs to uncover what– or who–is pulling the strings.
All Hallows’ Circus is an ongoing series, meant to explore the dynamics between a group of misfits, people cast out from society and trapped within the liminal space of a traveling circus. There’s drama, there’s comedy, as well as elements of horror and the supernatural.
