New Followers + Old Followers

My extended apologies to roleplay blogs following me lately.

I know you’re probably upset to see so much constant OOC here but.

I’ve been taking a break from PMMM roleplay? I’m sort of on a semi-Hiatus. However I have not given up on my muses, of course, especially not this one. Ongoing roleplays are still drafted and I still plan on continuing them. Just, not right now.

If you still want to follow me? Cool, and thank you for your patience. I try to limit my OOC to my sideblog instead of here for that reason of your patience, tbh. So you don’t have to see this constant chatter of mine. But if you don’t want to follow until I get back on my feet, then I also understand.

I do look forward to when I can roleplay with my new followers, and I wish I could do it soon, but it will have to wait until I can get back to roleplaying on my PMMM muses again.

You’ve got my biggest apologies, and wishes that I soon return from my hiatus comfortably.

For the time being you can find me on flxgrxns and rxbedo

Blinding -- {@Saya!Kyoko}

Homura watched intently for a good moment as the fireworks repeated. They would change shape and color. Sometimes they would give a big, colorful explosion. Sometimes it would be small and accompanied by others, but still a jaw-dropping sight all the same. She feels the squeeze clearly though, eyes moving back to Kyoko.

She stops to look at the face her companion is making, smitten at her more than the big display in front of them. She’s never seen such an amount of fascination in those hetereochromatic eyes before. Her heart skips a beat at it before her thumb brushes lightly against the other’s.

It would be nice if time could stop right now.

image

"…I wish I had a camera to capture the face you’re making right now." She gives a chuckle, speaking quietly as to not take Kyoko’s attention off from the fireworks too much.

Kyouko heard Homura's statement, certainly, though she kept her eyes on the fireworks. They really were mesmerizing. Kind of exciting really, all the lights and patterns.

Image

"I mean--ain't this excitin'? Maybe I don't see fireworks often enough, but hell, they're so neat..." She said with a bit of poorly hidden excitable tone in her voice, before looking back up at the sky. It really was a side of her less seen. More emotional, but in a positive way, this time.

And here Homura was almost just thinking they would share the spoon or something, but that was… embarrassing. She complies with the command, even if a little awkwardly. Yet another thing that shouldn’t be getting to her so much. “Ahh…?”

She tries to focus on the taste through her mouth, lingering on it slightly before going back to looking at Kyoko. She still a bit struck by the former motion, to say the least.

"I’m… not sure I am a good judger when it comes to my own cooking. It’s not something I thought about until now…" She clears her throat, hands resting on the table. "But if you say it’s good, I believe you. Do you think it could be improved though? Something like… is it too bland or rich enough?

"Hmm..." Kyouko looked thoughtful for a moment, holding the fork to her own lips without much regard to where it had just been. "I dunno. I don't think about all that stuff too hard. If it's good, it's good, when it comes ta me. Honestly, I don't think there's anything too specific ta work on to make it better. Though if ya keep practicin', yer cookin's gonna be A+ work in no time anyway."

"I like it though. It's rich, but it supposed ta be, right? Adds to it, in my opinion."

"I will have to drag you with me everytime I know there’s gonna be a show somewhere if you feel that way. But I wouldn’t mind making it an habit to visit this festival every year again… with you, if you would like to—"

As if on some sort of cue, there’s that familiar sound resounding as she hits that last note on her sentence. She turns her gaze in time to catch the multi-colored firework; shortly followed by another one of a green color. The view from this spot shows them clearly, something Homura had been right on. They’re not too close, but not too far away to watch either. Just perfect. She lets out a hum, a small nostalgic feeling going through.

"They’re starting…"

Kyouko did like the sound of that, regularly going to something like this. Festivals were pretty fun, and she didn't get to go to one enough.

Interrupted and pulled from her thoughts, Kyouko's eyes drifted towards the skies, the blackness of the sky abruptly lit by the colorful show of the fireworks, and filled with the booming noises. "Ahh..."

As they started, Kyouko really couldn't help but stare at them, focus primarily there. There was a small twitch of her hand around Homura's, a brief squeeze really, that she wasn't thinking about much. But if anything was clear, the fireworks certainly captured a sense of awe and fascination in Kyouko's face, that otherwise was rarely ever seen anymore.

"Ya can buy me a meal-"

"Aw, who am I kiddin’. I know me well ‘nough ta expect nothin’ more than a fuck off. Naw, I’m just bored. Ya gonna say anythin’ about why yer dressed like Yasaka Migi, or is it some shit what got yer knickers in a twist?"

He was on his way to lunch, but hell if this isn’t more interesting for the moment.

"If ya knew me ya'd know I couldn't buy ya anythin' anyway." Kyouko commented bluntly, expression a careful, neutral mask. "I ain't dressed like her really, either. Jus' got some'a her features. There's a big difference. I wouldn't be caught dead in her actual outfit, I think."

Scratching her head, Kyouko sighed, and frowned faintly. "As fer why, it ain't really a story that makes enough sense ta share. Besides, it ain't really anyone's business. I ain't got a choice, that's all ya need ta know."

"No..."

Kyouko's gaze lingered on the girl for a moment, before they shut, and she shook her head slowly. "Yer fine. I know, yer jus' curious. I wasn't. Just a...weird accident, is all." She can't explain what caused it. The blunette in front of her would find the explanation...startling, no doubt.

Blinding -- {@Saya!Kyoko}

Homura does come to realize for how long she’s been holding Kyoko’s hand, but it was becoming harder to let go the more she grasped it in her own. It was a small predicament with the conflicting thoughts. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to stay like this for a while longer, right?

image

"I thought so. You’ll see a really good view of them now, so don’t miss it." She laughs a little, before nodding and tugging Kyoko with her to sit down where they were. A clear view of the night sky in front of them. "You’re right though. They’re colorful, distracting. An indication of a place where one celebrates a special occasion. Times like this aren’t mean to be sad, they’re meant to be… happy."

She pauses at the last word, giving Kyoko’s hand a hesitant and small squeeze before speaking up again quietly. “…What do you think of that? Do you feel happy right now?”

Kyouko chuckled. She certainly wasn't gonna miss a display like a fireworks display. It was the kind of thing to demand attention to it anyway. Moving, Kyouko sat down when Sayaka prompted her to. Her free hand rested on the cool grass, other hand still in Homura's. They'd probably be mistaken by now for a couple by anyone who would see them, but Kyouko didn't really have an issue with that. It didn't seem like there were a lot of people if any, who would notice them here anyway.

Image

"Yeah. I do actually. Ya kinda...hit the nail on the head, ya know? Fireworks are amazin', an' colorful, but they mean somethin' so festive and happy, maybe that's just another reason why I like 'em so much."

-- Spears, Swords, & Shields [@Homura]

That seems to shut Homura up quickly enough. Angering Kyouko wasn’t exactly productive in any sense of the word, after all, and the least she needs is to make the girl regard her negatively, especially when Homura herself was too weak to fight back should it come to that. Hopefully it wouldn’t.

"My apologies." She remarks. "I didn’t mean to give the impression I was ungrateful for your efforts. There was a… miscommunication, between my intentions and my actions. Really, you’ve done more than I probably deserve."

Avatar

"Well, fer now I don't really care what ya think ya deserve when it comes ta this. Still...it's fine. I got a li'l hotheaded fer a second. Let's just drop the subject. I already helped ya, neither of us can change that outcome once it's happened, yeah?"

That was worded a bit oddly. Particularly since Homura could if she really wanted to. But hell.

- - - temerity and alacrity (@Kyouko)

”Talking is probably a good place to start. So we can get to know each other, you know?” Madoka notes with a small giggle. “After all, we’re just friendly strangers right now. There’s lots of stuff I’m curious about. Like… mmm…. where you came from. And where you’re going. If you’re out and about like this, you must have been headed someplace, right?”

Avatar

"Mm, true, true." Kyouko nodded, raising an eyebrow a little bit. "Ain't too much special about where I came from though. I mostly wander the city, unless yer talkin' about before I got to Mitakihara. I used ta live in Kasamino."

Kyouko scratched her head. "I ain't really goin' nowhere in particular right now though. I guess I was just takin' a walk."

-- Shark in the Water [@Sayaka]

"It is! I do as I please!" It was simple. Almost too simple at times. Sayaka often felt the need for something more, but she didn’t quite understand what exactly she wanted. The shark girl pouted as she thought about it again. It was so puzzling.

Sayaka shook her head, noticing her thoughts were wandering. “Well.. what is your life like? Aside from fighting creatures… Do you.. mingle with other humans? What are they like? How many Puella Magi are there?” she asked, looking off in the direction of the city. She had always wondered what was beyond the shore.

"I guess so, sometimes. Not so much anymore." Kyouko shrugged, and then shook her head. "Just...personal stuff. I don't really talk to a lotta people any more, I don't really think I could."

Well, she could. If she could stop feeling guilty. In the meantime though, she had isolated herself. "There are other puella though. Plenty others. Not all'a them are too friendly though. But, I guess it's that way with any creature, really. Ya got friendlies, and ya got hostiles."
