Hey there! I’d just like to take a moment to talk about an upcoming show. So, recently, I’ve been working with a fabulous team in the production of a wonderful upcoming YouTube webseries called “The Uncanny Upshurs” - it’s an urban fantasy about a pair of twins who are living away from each other for the first time in their lives, and how they discover that the world isn’t quite how they thought it was.

It’s honestly an incredible piece of work that I have so-far loved working on - it’s from a little Indie production, a collaboration of the two teams who created “Twelfth Grade (or Whatever)” and “The Grey Tarmac Road”, which are LGBT, diverse, brilliant, awesome indie adaptations of “Twelfth Night” and “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” respectively.

Unlike these two shows, however, “The Uncanny Upshurs” (or “#UnUps” as we’re calling it) is an entirely new piece of fiction created for the sole purpose of being a new webshow. It has a brilliantly diverse cast, full of people of colour, characters with disabilities, LGBT folks and more - one of the lead characters, Agatha Upshur, is a wonderful trans girl being played by an actual real life transgender woman.

To anybody who likes any kind of indie webseries, you’ll be amazed at how much work has gone into the Uncanny Upshurs, it’s honestly a masterpiece from what I’ve seen so far (which is quite a lot). To anybody who’s a fan of Harry Potter, or Percy Jackson or Buffy the Vampire Slayer - you’ll LOVE this with a PASSION.

The IndieGoGo isn’t asking for much, and some of the rewards are pretty cool - you can have your name in the credits, receive some signed postcards and scripts from the crew, and even have a Skype conversation with the cast - honestly, any amount of money will help create this wonderful piece of work which is, so far, being funded completely out of the pockets of the two directors. Every extra penny will just go towards making the show better and easier to create for the cast and crew (who are ALL volunteering), and the campaign will just make it that much easier, even if it just goes towards paying for the actors to travel to and from the sets.

So yeah, to help become part of funding a wonderful indie urban fantasy full of racially diverse, LGBT characters, autistic representation and enough smiles to put a mime out of business, help fund this incredible piece of work - the Uncanny Upshurs.

having a flesh vessel is so annoying?????? like they have to be constantly watered, they have to be in specific temperature range to be comfortable, i’ve had a headache for like seven hours and nothing i do will get rid of it,

physical forms are so inconvenient??????????????

I knocked mine over yesterday and scraped off some of the outer barrier and it keeps sending me really annoying warning messages about it

blood.dll has caused an access violation exception

I still can’t figure off how to turn off the monthly compile time. It goes for like 7 days wrecks all the system and takes so much CPU time.

I got the wrong model, too, and there’s no returns or exchange policy. I’m trying to make do as best I can with aftermarket modifications, but even that’s a real bind. And then I have to deal with all the purists who try to tell me I should be happy with the model I was given.

Mine has a short in the warning and alert sensors, and keeps tripping the alarm system for absolutely no reason.  It’s been taken to the mechanic many times, but the best they can do is recommend daily chemical baths for the wiring to keep it from arc-faulting constantly.

My uterus keeps trying to install this shitty bloatware that comes with certain dll processes and I keep refusing the update, then it goes through the whole defrag process deleting all those files.

My histamine system is faulty and triggers for no reason. I keep turning it down but I have to keep reapplying the patches daily.

On the plus side some of the case mods you can do are sick as hell.

My optical system’s permanently stuck on a really close focus setting, so I had to have extra camera lenses custom-made to sit in front of the vision chamber before it’ll notice anything more than 50cm away.

I have a faulty optical system, weak chassis, and a virus that causes my CPU to run on over drive or go into power saving mode without warning.

I really should have spent more on the damn thing.
