Returning soon

//I’ve been missing the DR verse and will probably come back to this account soon, though I’ll probably change it to Junko cause I’ve been dying to try her out, though I might keep Gundham as a side character if anyone so wishes. x3

I won’t replying to my threads unless someone asks since it’s been nearly a year OTL  So if you want to continue let me know, or we can start a new one.

//Outofthedarklord;

I’ll be on for replies and what not soon.  Adjusting to a new job at 40 hours a week and having to get up at 4 AM, and my bestie’s wedding is this weekend and I’m her MOH so I’ve been super busy.

//Outofthedarklord;

Sorry I haven’t been on these past few days. T_T I just started a new job and it’s full time, and I have to be up at 4 AM so I’m still trying to adjust to that lol I have hardly slept at all in the past 3 days so excuse me while I crash.  I’ll be on again soon, promise!

“So, we got invited to an orgy.” The animal breeder murmured, clearly uncomfortable.

Chiaki sighed and put her hands into her hoodie pockets. This was a great day to be spending with a classmate, especially one who understands how great animals are. For a moment she started to think about all her pets at home, wondering how long it’d be before they started to miss her or need her. Trying not to think about it too much, she stifled a yawn and tried to keep up with the other breeder.

image

“Unholy magic? I’m not sure about that… Maybe we should try talking to her first?” Solving problems peacefully was the quiet girl’s preference. “They truly are… Respectable creatures. They work harder than some people.”

[-♔-] Gundam was greatful to have a companion who agreed with him.  After all, most people thought ants were disgusting, especially girls.  It was refreshing to be with a like minded person, except where violence was concerned.

Image

“Bah! I highly doubt the childish one will listen to any kind of reasoning, but if you insist, you may attempt to coerce her into behaving”  Chiaki trying to convince Hyoko to not kill ants would be a sight to see though.  The blonde certainly didn’t listen to anyone here so far.   [-☪-]

She did note that he brought up a really good point. Which would have put her fears to rest before realizing that Monokuma did enjoy to toy with them. So it would be just like the bear to give them a false sense of hope or safety before bringing up something else. And it seemed like that Gundam was thinking roughly the same as she noticed him picking up the pace, gesturing for her to hurry as well. Which she happily complied with until they reached the other end of the bridge, letting out a breath of relief to be on dry land again. Of course it didn’t really mean too much on these islands but it was still a lot better than being out in the middle of those bridges.

“Oh it’s a-alright.” she said, quickly following after him as he took the lead, “I don’t m-mind at all. Besides, I q-quite enjoy reading. Though it tends to be a-a bit more centered around medical books.” Which the library here may or may not have seeing as it was located on one of the resort islands. And not too many people tended to think of a resort library when they thought of where to grab some medical books. But still, there was a chance that there could be some. If not, then it was still big enough for her to do some wandering around in. “Though I d-didn’t expect to hear that you e-enjoyed reading. I mean, I-I just figure that with all t-the time you must spend on t-taking care of your animals it wouldn’t leave much e-extra time for reading.” she quickly explained herself, not wanting to sound like she meant to offend him in any way, “But, i-if I may ask o-of course, what kinds o-of books you like to read?”

[-♔-] Gundam was glad she read.  It showed a sign of intelligence and inrigue that many humans didn’t have, and he was glad they shared the hobby.  “This island’s room of knowledge does seem to be stocked well.  I am quite sure you will be able to find at least a couple of medical books.” He assured her.  “There’s nothing wrong with only reading medical books, though you should at least try another genre now and again.  You may come across something you enjoy.”

Image

He pondered her question a moment before answering.  “I read breeding books of course.  That’s how I got into the world of literacy.  I enjoyed them so much, I wanted to read other types of novels.  Then I got into the occult books, which are my favorites.  I quite enjoy fantasy, sci-fi, and mystery as well.” Really, he enjoyed all books and was always trying new things, though he could do without the romance and drama genres.

The library came into sight and he bee-lined towards the door.  “Of course, I the great Gundam Tanaka, have made sure we arrived safely!  Come!  Let us immerse ourselves in knowledge!” he shouted.  [-☪-]

The little girl giggled as she rested a hand on her cheek. This man was quite the character. She looked up at him and placed her parasol behind her. He kind of reminded her of that one warlock she met…. not a nice encounter.

“Nope~ I’m not exactly human either. I’m a witch. And a pretty cute one at that~”

[-♔-] “A witch.  Of course, I already knew that with my evil, all seeing, eye.  Tell me, know of any good spells?” He was, more or less, a warlock.  He had been normal once upon a time, but began to dabble in magic at a young age.

Image

“Perhaps we can trade our repertoire of magic?  I have quite a few useful spells as well, of course.”  A trade for trade would be good.  Gundam enjoyed learning new magic, and it gave him an excuse to spend time with her.  He was quite curious, as he’d never met a witch. [-☪-]

Pleased that he’d decided to go with the plan she enjoyed the most, she gave a soft sweet giggle. She’d only spent a little time at the ranch so far, mostly only when she saw that transforming cow. Usami’s ‘powers’ were rather interesting, but Chiaki was happy that she had something like her to rely on a bit. “Yes… As much as I love my heroes, it’s nice to see other animals… Ah, mm-hm let’s go.” Walking at a casual pace, she headed in the direction of the ranch. “Hm…. I hope Saionji-san isn’t there hurting ants again…” Muttering to herself, she frowned at the thought.

[-♔-] Gundam found a smile on his face in response to hers, against his wishes.  He wasn’t the type to smile, but her soft smile was contagious, and her excitement palpable.  It was a great thing to have another human being on the island that enjoyed animals as much as he did. “Perfect! Come hither.  It isn’t far off.” He set off, allowing the other to catch up with him.

Image

At her comment, the breeder nodded in agreement.  “The childish one is a piece of work, certainly.  I may be forced to use my unholy magic upon her if I find her crushing them.  Even though they are tiny, ants work hard.  They are respectable for insects.” he agreed, keeping his pace up. [-☪-]

She wasn’t entirely sure if he was saying that because he actually figured that her reasoning would be somewhere along the lines of enjoying to help others, or if he just wanted to sound like he did. Not like either option really mattered more over the other since he was actually making the effort to talk and interact with her. Rather, she was a bit more interested in the fact that he mentioned something about them being similar because of that? And she wasn’t sure how she should take that. Since a lot of people had something or someone they cared about and were willing to do what they could to take care of them. Or perhaps he meant more towards being useful? Which she was certain that what Gundam did was extremely useful to a lot of people who wanted to give the best care to their pets.

For a moment she was about to just assume she was only overthinking things again–and possibly taking things out of context–when she listened to the breeder explain what he strove for with the animals under his care. Something that really should have been obvious given his expertise, but currently Tsumiki was more focused on the fact that he had shared something like that with her.

“R-really? You haven’t?” she asked, wondering if that was even true. At least she could believe it could be for those of them on the island. Especially since a number of the students here had already decided it seemed better to keep to themselves for the most part–or at least seemed so to her. “T-then um, I p-promise that I won’t e-ever let anyone else know about that.” And she certainly would do her best to make sure she never broke such a promise. Though she wasn’t so sure about the confidence part. But she did feel like Gundam had taken a large step in putting some of his faith and trust in her, and that was plenty enough to ease her nerves–for the time being anyway.

As they turned onto the bridge she nodded in agreement at his statement. “Y-yea. It makes m-me a little uneasy to cross the bridges. I mean with those M-Monobeasts hanging around, along with all the other s-seemingly impossible things that have happened on the island, I just can’t help but think that s-something might just come crashing out of the water at m-me.” She admitted, feeling a little foolish for thinking such a thing. But at the same time she knew that just because it seemed impossible didn’t mean that i couldn’t end up happening. Especially on these islands. “O-of course I’m sure that someone like you d-doesn’t really worry about things like that.”

[-♔-] Gundam nodded, relieved that she’d agreed not to tell the others.  Not that he or Mikan seemed to spend much time with them, but it would be against his Dark Lord representation if they saw him as a softy.  The breeder was a bit confused though as well.  He trusted the nurse to keep his secret, he realized with a start. It had been an eternity since he’d trusted anyone aside from his mother.  He wasn’t even sure if he had ever trusted anyone besides her.  The feeling both put him at ease and made him all the more nervous.  He hated giving his trust to others, and detested the feeling of being vulnerable and allowing someone else to have the power to hurt him.

And yet, he didn't feel like Mikan would do such a thing.  He tried to calm his over analytical mind as they crossed the bridge, and threw himself back into their conversation in hopes to distract himself.  “Fret not timorous one.  It would seem as though Monomi has taken out the beast on this bridge, and we have crossed it many times already.  If one was to come to take it’s place, it would already be here.” He reassured her, pressing forward.

Image

It was entirely possible though that any moment one would resurface and devour the both of them.  Anything was possible on this island of death after all.  The breeder picked up his pace, motioning for the nurse to do the same. Once they were safely across, he let the breathe out he hadn’t realized he’d been holding.

“It would appear the library is just beyond here.” He grinned, excited to be spending some time with someone.  He sped up a bit more, before turning back, making sure Mikan could still keep up. “I suppose I kind of dragged you here on my wishes.  Do you enjoy to read at all?” He asked her.  As much as he enjoyed the library, if she found reading boring, perhaps they could settle on a different area to convene.  He hoped she enjoyed to read though, as it was a more uncommon hobby, and one of his favorite past times.  [-☪-]

New Acquaintances! (6)

“Ah, no… or at least I don’t think I have…” she replies. It must have sounded disappointing for him to hear that there was someone who hadn’t heard much about him, but perhaps she could put a positive spin on such a fact? Gundam almost looked… sort of angry, so would it hurt to give an attempt at making him smile? Her talent as an idol expanded upon not just singing, but being able to do those sorts of little things as well.

“But why do I need to hear legends other people made up when I have the source of them right with me? You wouldn’t mind telling me some of your stories, right? I think it would be a good way to make sure our time spent on this project ends up being fun,” Maizono explains. It was refreshing, getting to work with someone from the other class for a change, and it was easy to tell that the idol wasn’t making light of that opportunity, yet whether they were going to form a bond or not rested upon the breeder’s shoulders, as Maizono was more than willing to give it a try. Being referred to as the kind one was pleasant enough to hear from him at least.

[-♔- ] Gundam’s face fell at her words.  It was unfathomable that she hadn’t heard of him.  It wasn’t like he was popular, but the school was small, and he had a reputation as someone most didn’t want to associate with.  At least, she hadn’t heard the awful rumors that floated around about him.  In a way, he enjoyed being infamous though.

Image

“Hmph I suppose that is true.  The people of this school enjoy weaving lies into rumors.” At her next comment though, his grin widened.  Truly, she couldn’t actually want to hear his tales of his adventures in the netherworld.  People couldn’t stand when he talked to them about it.  But sure enough, she seemed genuinely interested.  “Oh but I would love to!” he exclaimed.  “Perhaps we could even do our project on the lifeforms of Gehenna.  That would be a fascinating subject.  Unfortunately, it is extremely hard to traverse there right now due to the war.  Such a shame.”  That, and the teacher would likely fail them for that subject.  “Perhaps we should make our way to the room of knowledge and figure out a subject matter.” The breeder hoped she’d understand his vague term as the library, but it wouldn’t be a first if she didn’t.   [-☪-]

Walking slowly, each step making a noise in quiet hallway, her head looked around, in hope to find something. Not something, actually, someone would be a better word to describe whatever she was trying to find. Her left delicate and small hand was holding a small animal. A small hamster, actually.

Finally, she spotted the person that she was searching for. His name was unknow to the gambler, but someone described how he looked like. A black jacket, which covered partially a white shirt with a purple cross. A huge purple scarf, bangades on one of his hands and finally his two colored hair. It couldn’t be anyone other than him.

“Excuse me.” Pronounced her out of nowhere. As she walked towards him, the small hamster started to make a happy sound. “I found one of those in my room. Some people told me they belong to you.” She almost added that he should take better care of his animals, but kept quiet.Next thing she wanted was to make an enemy.

[-♔-] Gundam Tanaka was consumed in fear.  It was an emotion he rarely felt, and yet felt everyday.  Fear of rejection.  Fear of other students.  Fear of social interaction.  Not that the King of Darkness would ever let on to feeling such a thing.  This fear was much more intense then he was used to though, and he felt the despair knawing at the back of his mind like a disease.

The animal breeder had lost Jun-P.  In fact, he’d been so distracted that he hadn’t noticed his devas’ insistent scratching until he was in his second class.  He figured they’d just needed new food or water, but on further inspection he discovered his missing familiar, and immediately freaked the hell out.

Image

The breeder bolted out of the classroom as soon as he found out, ignoring the teacher’s yelling for him to return and get to his seat.  He didn’t care about the math class, nor the disgruntled teacher, or his annoyed classmates.  All he could think about was finding Jun-P.  As he turned another corner, he heard a voice call out to him.  Turning around, he frowned as he recognized one of his classmates.  Celes, the ultimate gambler, stood facing him.  He’d never talked to her really, and was confused as to why she would start now, but forgot all about his thoughts as his eyes settled on Jun-P.

The salt and pepper haired male bolted towards the other at full speed, taking his hamster surprisingly gently from her.  “Jun-P are you injured?” He asked the creature, examining him further.  Finally, he was satisfied, and let him crawl back into his cloak with the rest of his devas.  “You have my gratitude.” He turned to the other.  “I do not know what I would have done, had I not been able to recover Jun-P.” [-☪-]

U-Um… Excuse me sir. Are you a warlock? Cause you look like one.

[-♔-] “Huh?” The other’s words momentarily caught him off guard.  No one had asked him such a thing before.  However, he quickly regained his composure, trying to hide his excitement.  If she’d asked the breeder such a question, surely she couldn’t be human either?  “I am something of the sorts woman.  Pray tell, surely you are not a simple mortal either.  It has been an eternity since I met one of my own kind.” As the words left his lips he laughed manically.

Maybe this person would prove a great way to kill time. [-☪-]
