My incredible Maizie!!!

I don’t know when you sent this message. I’m so sorry to have missed it. I’ve not been on tumblr in a very long time, and I don’t check in like I used to.

Thank you for your endless support of Tom and Kristiane! Honestly this has touched me a great deal. I’m really touched that you still read them. I miss writing them terribly. I miss writing terribly. I’ve been wanting desperately to pick it back up, but I’ve lost my inspiration for it... and I just don’t know where or when or what to write. 

I thought a lot of Tom and Kristiane while the Tonys were on, and on my trips into the city to revisit Broadway now that its back. In my head, during Down with Love, both Tom and Kristiane were nominated for Oliviers during the same season. I never made it as far as writing them back in New York. 

When Betrayal ran on Broadway, it was the house next door to where some of the scenes in Down with Love took place. One of my favorite Broadway theatres is the Schoenfeld, which shares a stage door with the Bernard Jacobs Theatre - one of the reasons I put Kristiane in that theatre a lot.

I miss you tons, Maizie! I’m really so touched that you reached to me. It’s been a minute...

I haven't reblogged this in a while and I've started rereading some of my old stuff. I'm tired of being disappointed in myself when I dont write. Revisiting when I was more prolific actually helps. I've picked up my pen again. Another chapter of Jonathan and Kristiane's Covent Garden Hotel is in the beginning stages of resembling a chapter. And I'm excited!

“What did you think of the film, love?” he ventured in a way to draw his girlfriend of a year out. Cassie was anything but quiet, so this ice sculpture routine that she was pulling was not on. He threw his keys on the foyer table with a loud jangle, slipping his leather jacket off his shoulders with a hunch. She did the same, tucking both away into the nearby closet.

She shrugged, cleared her throat, and walked directly into the kitchen to brew a cuppa. “It was fine, not my style.”

Fanfiction Writer Appreciation Day  

I wasn’t aware until this friday, that we have a special day for all you amazing, wonderful and talented writers and content creators. That’s why my post is a little late. 

I just want to say a little something about myself first. Tumblr is one of my absolute favorite places, it’s become a safe space when real life gets too busy or hard and I just want to surround myself with joy and wonderful people that make me feel better. I haven’t been doing so good in the last two months or so and it’s been hard to really feel comfort or joy on here, because my brain keeps reminding me of all the bad things and making me feel miserable about myself. And I feel like my mind and thoughts have been so busy and screaming so loud, that I wasn’t really able to concentrate and enjoy all the great stories I’ve come across or have been tagged in. 

I don’t know if any of this makes sense or is the most eloquent way of saying it, but all I want with this, is letting you know that I love and appreciate every single one of you SO MUCH for what you do and share with us!! I am dedicating this post to all of you and I’m wishing you all the best and sending all my love to you, because you are all amazing and cherished and I’m so grateful for every single one of you! Thank you, for making tumblr a better and happier, more colourful place and for reminding me, there’s great things out there to appreciate and spend time on, depression and anxiety can fuck right off, because it’s exhausting to have these negative thoughts all the time.

Jonathan woke with a start in the darkened corridor of the hospital. His heart pumped hard in his chest, his blood surged, his fists clenched, his mind raced. He inhaled sharply through his nose, breathing in the dry sterile atmosphere of the non-emergent wing. Scrubbing his hands over his face to wake up and chase the bad sleep away, his ears strained to pick up on the sound that roused him.

The night manager and part time MI6 agent kept a vigilant post outside the room of a healing Broadway star. He hoped she was healing as he hadn’t been allowed back inside or at her side. He hovered in close proximity until she asked for him or she was freed under doctor’s orders. The hotel no longer appealed to him, preferring to guard his songbird. (Her door at the very least.)
