Anna smiled back at Deanna. “I think it would have to be anywhere, but my house. Michael doesn’t like you much.” -And Anna like-liked her. “You happen to be a distraction a lot of the time though.” Not that Anna minded the distractions that Deanna offered.
“I’m fine with that. I’m not exactly a fan of Big Bad Michael either,” Deanna said as she pointed to a booth in the far side of the dinner. She got a wicked grin on her face and leaned in to kiss her neck, right under Anna’s ear before pulling back. “Me, a distraction? Never?”

Lumi shook her head. She was stubborn, and the more the girl talked, the more she was sure she should go with her. “I can perfectly defend myself, I practice kickboxing.” she answered, impetuous. She had enrolled since she was a teenager, in hopes to feel some degree of safety, considering the situations Adrastea put her in. “No. I will show you. You come with me, and I will show you the girl from afar, if you think it’s dangerous. And that’s it.” she stated.
Deanna gave a huff or annoyance. This is what happens when you work with someone else. The sooner she got the information she needed though the sooner she could just tie the girl up or...like, knock her out or something. The girl might have taken kick boxing, but Deanna seriously doubted whether her new buddy could handle a machete, “Fine, lets get going.”

“Ah, I have- her name.” she hesitated. If the girl did believe in vampires, Lumi wasn’t exactly the one to call mentally sane card. She couldn’t judge. And if or when they found out something worthy, she could find a way to go to the police, and let them do their work. “But if you’re talking to her, I’m going with you.” she defied. If the girl wasn’t guilty, she couldn’t risk the chance that Amber - if that was her name - would take her for a vampire and hurt her somehow, give her ‘what she deserved’. On another side, if the girl was guilty, she couldn’t just send Amber over to a murderer. The word made her cringe lightly, and she shook her head. “You’re not going alone.”
If they got a name they could end this whole thing much quicker then she’d thought. She shook her head at the suggestion. “No, you don’t know how to defend yourself. I’m not letting a civilian get involved in coming face to face with a vamp, I’m sorry. Now, tell me what the girls name is. Please,” she said, adding the last bit to try and seem a little more friendly so she could get the information she wanted.

Lumi didn’t answer, her first statement, though she did think it over, wondering if the girl was telling the truth. As she went on, though, she frowned. She was an excellent liar, and she could tell the girl was too, which made her even more surprised as she didn’t sense a cover up in her answers. Did she really believe-? Maybe she’d have to believe that the girl believed it to be truth. Her breath stumbled lightly though, when she heard the end of it. “Did… Did you say red hair?” she murmured, screwing her eyebrows. Maybe it hadn’t been a vampire, but that didn’t mean the girl didn’t have valuable information, maybe they could figure this out even looking through those fiction goggles. All she knew was that there was no one else that she could discuss this with. “I…” she hesitated, but decided to say it anyway. “I saw her arguing with a red haired girl earlier this week.” she murmured, in shock with the thought that the girl she saw might have killed her professor. “They sounded… Furious. Professor Hill closed the door when she caught me staring. We had an appointment, but I ended up going back home.” she wasn’t sure why she was saying all this. Maybe because the girl reminded her of her brother, in personality, which made her feel somewhat safe with her.
Deanna could see the wheels turning behind the girls eyes as she decided whether to trust her or not. To believe her story or to call 911 and get her committed. So when she didn’t call her crazy or laugh in her face she was a little surprised. She nodded. “Yeah, it was just a flash of red hair. Do you remember what the girl looked like? My dad and I have been trying to track down the vamps for days now.” She knew it was probably stupid to trust a civilian with any of this information, and her dad would probably kill her but she wanted to stop the killings, sooner rather then later.
