As a mother, learn to say NO.

Not to your children, to your kids try to say yes as often as you can.

But to everyone else, and especially yourself, learn to say NO.

Your children depend on you to say no for them when they can’t say it for themselves.

They need you to stand up for them and watch out for their best interest.

And you, you deserve to parent your children as you see fit, so if others are opposing you or attempting to impose their will on you: learn to say NO.

It’s normal to get stressed. It’s normal to need some time for yourself. It’s normal to complain because your kid threw the silverware in the toilet. Or because they won’t sleep.

You’re not a bad parent. Stop judging parents for venting. We’ve all been there.

Meadow was a little over 1 when she actually could use it halfway decent. She just kinda did it on her own one day. I wouldn't worry about it, she'll do it when she feels like it

Just like 2 days ago I was talking about how I d had a hell of a time getting meadow off her bottle. (That damn bottle, ugh). Anyway, that same night she asked me for a sippy at bed time. I was like well, yeah sure if you want. I gave it to her, and she whined a little bit, but I just told her to take what I gave her and go to bed. She did! And all day yesterday she never even asked for a bottle. It was also her second night without sleeping with one! I think I’m finally getting somewhere with this whole bottle thing for once. I’ve tried countless times, but it’s been so hard. Guess I just had to wait until she was ready to get rid of it. Hopefully this lasts!

I got Kendall off the bottle at about 14 or 15 months by just giving her a sippy instead. She never noticed a difference 😂 I was so lucky with that! And that she never took a paci or anything because I used one until 2-3 years old and my parents couldn’t get me off of it easily at all!

Meadow never took a pacie either thankfully, even though I wanted her to because she had colic so I just wanted her to be quiet lol. I tried multiple times to just give her a sippy instead of a bottle but the girl was so attached to that damn bottle it was almost impossible, but thankfully she's off of it now AND before she even turned 2 haha
