Miesha Tate retires after a decade in MMA and achieving the highest honour in the sport, becoming UFC bantamweight champion.

Someone who knows Miesha once told me her home is like a clown car for MMA fighters, they all stay and train out of there. She’s always in the corners of fighters in Invicta, and is deep in the sport at all levels. I can’t say enough about my respect for her and what she has done for women’s MMA.

A true legend, and I’m delighted she will go out recognized as that.
