I really deeply appreciate the storytelling craft that has gone into ensuring that David Tennant is the Doctor forever, and can appear at any time without requiring weird timeline shenanigans. This is fan service, yes, but I'm certain the #1 fan this is servicing is in fact David Tennant.

“Mom’s gay friend from her thirties had a mental breakdown so he’s going to live in our backyard for awhile until his antidepressants start working” is the funniest ending any of us could’ve hoped for God bless

DAVID TENNANT as THE DOCTOR Doctor Who - "The Star Beast"
RTD seeing the criticism about NuWho being """"woke"""" and writing the storyline in such a way that it revolves around gender-identity, queerness and female empowerment. This is why we missed him ♥️♥️♥️♥️
What’s a stereotypical food from ur culture that u absolutely love.
because we had/have many mutual friends, I want to make a post and hope that those who'd want to know find out.
I was contacted today by dunderklumpen/laura's mother. unfortunately laura has passed away.
she was ill for a long time, but her passing is still an incredible shock.
I met laura online about 12 years ago, and we quickly bonded over our mutual love for both theatre in general and for david tennant in particular. we travelled - me from sweden and her from the netherlands - to see david tennant in theatre several times. once we saw the same play starring john simm three times in two days. we also spent weeks together in my apartment doing gish(whes) together, and I have many crazy and fond memories of those times.
I will always remember laura as highly intelligent, kind, honest, funny, and a very good friend. I loved her for a long time, and always will.
if you knew her, share a memory. if you didn't - chances are you knew her gifs here on tumblr. she was a force to be reckoned with.
I'm still in shock...
I met Laura online around the same time. And then we met in person in Sheffield (Simm and Betrayal). And then Stratford-upon-Avon, DT in Richard II, stage door craziness, and the very VERY memorable visit to the RSCArchives.
And then London, DT again of course but also waiting for a stupid number of hours (in the cold) for the tickets to watch American Psycho, madness with Coriolanus together and so much more!
There were also a special Illiad project on the Thames in the rain (no hot soup ever tasted as well as the one after we disembarked the boat).
She even once talked to Jason Isaac and made him wrote "to Ania" on Star Wars Rebels Inquisitor print :)
We shared our love for cats and snails. Oh Laura's snails' gifs were one of a kind! I will always remember her wit, her sense of humour, her sometimes crazy ideas. Her gift of making people smile.
I'm gonna miss her.
Still processing, still can't believe in it...

SHADOW AND BONE | Episode 6
SHADOW AND BONE ↳book > screen
Kaz knew the instant he made his mistake. They’d all known it might come to this. He should have trusted his crew. His eyes should have stayed trained on Van Eck. Instead, in that moment of threat, when he should have thought only of the fight, he looked at Inej. And Van Eck saw it.” - Six of Crows
"And what's yours?" Kaz thought of the moment on Vellgeluk that had nearly cost him everything. “I’m a cripple. That’s my tell. No one’s ever smart enough to look for the others.” - Crooked Kingdom
