it was a long hot day, like really hot. sweat was covering her body is a small layer as she made her way through the sand to the palace. trudging through the door she didn’t stop as she went to her room, nor did she want to stop all she had on her mind was a nice cold shower or bath. hearing a familiar voice call out to her she just kept walking and went to her room and closed the door. once in the safety of the room she was borrowing she went to the bathroom ran some warm water and then walked out letting the huge luxury tub fill up as she undressed and took her hair down. once the tub filled up she went back into the bathroom and sat down in the tub for a little and then let the water out as she cooled off and moved to the shower letting the water cool and wash off all the dirt on her body.
Azir had heard, and actually seen Xayah come into the palace. He had heard that she had been traveling his way, and had been expecting her. Of course, they weren’t able to see each other often, so when they got the chance, it was nice. So he would enter her room, shutting the door behind him. He would knock on the bathroom door. “No greeting?” He asked.
Hearing a knock and her lovers voice she smiled and made her way over to the bathroom door and opened it looking at him and letting him look at her wet naked body not shying away in the least. “sorry I had to get into a shower, I was disgusting.” smiling at him she took a step forward. “If you want I’m more than happy to have you join me as an apology.”
Azir didn’t even take time to gawk over Xayah, having seen her a few times prior. He would lean against the doorway, though, and offer a smirk to the vastayan. “I can’t say no to that offer. It is good to see you. I’ve been excited for you to come back.” He would say, stepping into the bathroom. He gently grabbed and squeezed her hand on the way past her. It was obvious that Azir himself had been busy before she had arrived, due to the sweat on his skin. He would quickly unclothe, looking to the shower. Without further ado, he entered into the cold waters, shivering against his control as it quickly wet his body, sending goosebumps all over him.
following after him she wrapped her arms around him from behind and gave him a small hug before moving away to let him was and move in front of him to finish her shower since it was big enough for booth of them to fit and get wet at the same time. stumbling back she couldnt help but try to lightly tease azir with ‘accidental’ bumps and gropes as she moved around the shower.
Of course, Azir knew when she was doing these things on purpose, as Xayah was not one to bump around. She was rather good on her feet. And so, after adjusting to the coolness of the shower, he would go to tease her back. Whenever she bumped or groped at him, he would return the touches, sometimes going a little low or high, and not shying away from checking her out at times when she could clearly see him. After all, it wasn’t often that he got to see his lover so on display for him.
she laughed and once she knew they were both clean she pulled him in for a kiss the cold water running over them as she wrapped her arms around his neck holding him there before breaking apart. "I did miss you by the way." she gave him a small smile and moved closer so the were pressed up against each other.

Xayah watched her watch tick down she only ha a few more seconds until she met her sole mate. she was scared,scared of the fact she had no control over this. she was sitting on a fountain, the water cascading behind her. closing her eyes she took a deep breathe to see the dreaded 00:00:00. looking around she saw a figure approaching her.

He stared at the watch, too scared to look upward for what seemed like an eternity. When he finally looked up he saw a woman sitting at a fountain. She was the only one in the area, it had to be her. She was his soulmate.
“Hey.” He said shyly, standing in front of the taller woman.
“Hi.” It was all she could say he was here and she didn’t know what to do. “So Your him huh?” She just blurted it out she didn’t mean to make it sound like an insult, but it probably sounded like an insult.
“I mean not that it’s a bad thing!” She gave him a small apologetic smile and tried to reassure him she wasn’t trying to deliberately offend him. “Anyway, no offense but I’m pretty sure the universe fucked us on this one, so how about we act like we never met, yeah?”

He opened his mouth to reply, but her other remark hurt his feelings. He frowned and looked down at his feet. “But… we are soulmates! That is how this works! You can’t just ignore that because I’m not what you expected.” He was getting upset, his face was red underneath his thick fur.

"It's not that you werent what I expected." she sighed and ran a hand through her feathery crimson locks, "I just dont want people telling me who I need love." she knew he was pissed hell maybe beyond pissed at her.
Looking at the ground she realized she should at least give him a chance but her pride didnt want her to.shoving her pride aside she meet his eyes her gold ones straring into his mismatched ones"Fine I'll give you one chance." she looked at him with a seriou expression. "But thats all you'll get."

Xayah sighed tired from her training, not paying any attention to anyone she walked into a room marked occupied and bumped right into a sculpted chest. Blinking in surprise she blushed and looked up meeting his eyes. Gulping at first she didn’t move and then all at once she did. “Oh gosh I’m so sorry!” She didn’t cover her face just moved a good bit away and looked down.

"Yes I am." she gave him a small smirk and then moved to the trainin g mat and on the way dropped her bag on the floor and started to wrap her hands in bandages. "just don't be surprised if you lose."
