Oh my god, I've just seen this story on instagram about this guy that filled his bathtub with waterbead...except he didn't think about how he was going to empty it.

So he unplugged the bathtub which was apparently the worst idea he could possibly have because this happened

So he panicked and started asking people on the internet what he should do. Which was also a bad idea.

First suggestion: flush the toilet

This caused a smelly overflow that flooded the whole bathroom.

Second suggestion: vaccum the beads

His vaccum caught fire.

At this point it had actually spread to the neighborhood and people came to ask question but he denied knowing anything about it. He then discovered that it's invaded the whole sewer system.

And yet, he continued to take suggestion from the internet.

Third suggestion: put salt in

It actually worked. Well, until.

Poop apprently started flooding his house.

And then the streets.

It all happened yesterday so we're still waiting on an update on the situation but I hadn't laugh like this in a while.

Word of warning: don't fill your bathtub with waterbeads. Just don't.

Update on the situation. The waterbeads have totally blocked the sewer system. He received a letter from town hall telling people to report nuisances to the cops that are searching for the culprit.

He's in so much trouble that I'm starting to feel guilty for finding this funny...but still kinda laughing about it.

Her name was Neerja Bhanot, and she’s credited with saving 360 lives.  She alerted the pilots of the terrorists and they escaped, so the plane couldn’t take off.  She hid passports to save Americans, the terrorists’ primary targets.  After 17 hours, the terrorists opened fire, and she lost her life when she used her body to shield children from the bullets.  She is a hero, and I’m all for people recognizing her.

Nothing says friendship like destroying a communist police state together

If anyone is wondering what’s going on in Hong Kong right now, people are protesting a bill that would allow for extradition of fugitive offenders. The issue people have with the proposed amendment is that it would open up the citizens of Hong Kong–which is independent–to falling under mainland Chinese law.

The bill potentially places in high risk anyone with openly critical views about the governing and policies in mainland China. Given that there have already been many abductions from Hong Kong–particularly of bookstore owners selling materials of a critical nature–this legislation would only enable the Chinese government in further silencing political dissent.

Bear in mind that mainland China is where Winnie the Pooh continues to be banned from mention on all social media because people were making humorous comparisons between Pooh and Xi Jinping–the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (aka the current President of China).

America is far from perfect, but at least we have the freedom to publicly ridicule the bags of raw sewage running this shitshow without fear of either censorship, or legislation that would allow the government to arrest us for it.

This is a nice, concise rundown on what is happening in Hong Kong right now, thank you for sharing. I wasn’t sure I understood exactly what was going on, but this makes a lot of sense and also explains why people are planning to boycott Mulan over the main actress’s remarks.

Not only is it true, it gets worse. The Susan G Komen For The Cure Foundation has actually successfully sued “competing” charities, because (paraphrasing) their “message or branding was infringing.”

You read that correctly: they took money that people had donated to cure cancer, and hired attorneys with it, to sue ANOTHER group of people trying to find a cure for cancer, who, in turn, had to us their donated money to hire their own legal counsel to defend themselves.

Yeah signal boost because not enough people know about this and seriously FUCK SUSAN G. KOMEN THEY ARE THE ACTUAL WORST

Komen For The Cure is pretty much awful.

My mother died in 1996 from breast cancer. Most cancer charities are scams, in that people throw fancy parties and get rich off them and very little money goes into research or support for patients. Here are some vetted cancer charities that get good scores on Charity Navigator and pay medical expenses or fund research:
