judges and i will be choosing the winners based on

  • theme: how well is the theme integrated into the story 
  • plot: is the storyline interesting
  • characterization: while the characters don't have to be 100% ic, are they recognizable through their dialogue/actions
  • quality: how well written is the story (grammar/punctuation errors are okay as long as they don't greatly affect the flow of the story)

i am considering a scoring system though let me talk with the judges o/

thank you everyone for your submissions to my fic contest ; ; you don't know how hard it was to hold myself back from reading them as they came in aaahhhhh

unfortunately i did the bad timing thing and in a few hours i'll be on a plane to my next convention where i will spend the weekend trying to sign up for sdcc on my phone so judging won't start until next week. the bookmarks will be mailed next week as well!!!

guidelines

  • deadline: submission deadline is march 12!!
  • word length: minimum 1k ; maximum 8k
  • rating: any!
  • theme: the theme does not need to be a major part of the plot but let’s not make it just a random word that shows up in the middle of a paragraph.
  • universe: it can be any universe or even entirely au.
  • submission: please fill out this form with your information and a link to the fanfic (fanfic can be uploaded anywhere)!

prizes

  • ALL ENTRANTS will get a free bookmark (please choose one) while supplies last!!
  • GRAND PRIZE wins a body pillowcase with any two designs of their choice from this selection, and a loki pillowcase.
  • (2) HONORARY MENTIONS wins a loki pillowcase.
  • bookmarks will be shipped out after contest ends. pillowcases will require 3-4 weeks of processing and printing time.
