“All I could do was stare. I wasn’t even staring at her beauty, I was staring at her confidence; at her pride. Her glee was so immense. Then, she turned to me. She smiled. And I was done for.”

“Aislinn, love. I know it’s late. Are you still awake?” The low voice coming from the linkpearl broke through the woman’s concentration like little else could, immediately pulling her head up from her work with a soft inhalation. There he was. Another day in which Locke was alive and safe. Now she could rest easy.
I took a little journey to the unknown And I've come back changed, I can feel it in my bones
"I'm just saying that if they didn't want us to eat this pie they wouldn't have left it here. Or made it so big. And so delicious looking. Or pre-cut it... Actually, ok, I admit that I'm getting a little suspicious now."

Maybe it's OK to not do everything alone.
"The plan's simple. We break in, grab our man, break out, and once we've got clear skies above us once more we signal for the Waltz to swoop in and pick us up. Simple enough." "You always have a habit of making it sound simpler than it seems, Captain." Murmured the Navigator whose comment was met with an amused grunt from Loe. "Come now, we've done a smash and grab before. And if anyone gets in our way you're free to crack as many skulls as you'd like. Maybe even nab a souvenir or two." “I don’t know what state we’ll find him in.” Aislinn said, staring down at the map, watching as the Navigator pinpointed the coordinates to the safe house she had given up. If she wasn’t seen as an enemy of her former cartel before, she would be now. They were kind of touchy about this sort of information being given away. “Though I feel if he had become the uncontrollable sort Sterling would’ve put a knife in him and been done with it.” She never was one to mince words. Blinking, she pulled her attention back to Locke. Aislinn knew she was out of her depth when it came to sky pirate raiding tactics. Luckily, standing there on the deck of the Endless Waltz, she was currently surrounded by several people far more experienced than her on the subject. “Ready when you are.”
“We should go target practice sometime.” "Oh, fancy a competition, do ya? It would help test our aim." Luma joked, chuckling lightly. "A friendly wager could be partaken as well if you're up for it." Though he feared it would be a wager he may lose. Aislinn’s mouth curves up in a thrilled arc. “Come on now, I’m always up a little friendly wager. Especially if it involves my shooting.”
"Well, this is going to put a damper on things."

I redecorated Aislinn's apartment and aside from running out of housing slots faaaar too soon, I'm really happy with how it came out!
"We didn't carry that box halfway around the damn star to lose it now."
