"Can you help me? My Dragalage is feeling really grumpy lately. She won't won't move from her spot. And when I try to feed her, she rejects my food. In starting to get worried about her."
The kid was talking about an actual Dragalge? That species of Pokémon was extremely mortal and territorial. The woman frowned and spoke with a serious voice.
“How long have you had this Pokémon? Did you catch her or breed her by yourself? Because if she’s a new member of your party, it can be pretty dangerous for you.”
“Listen. Have you heard about The Devil’s Triangle? It’s that part of the sea where ships enter and never return from. Do you know why? Because Dragalges live there. They eat away— corrode the hull of these ships with their poison… It’s a pretty territorial Pokémon as well. Do you get what I’m saying?”
“If she’s been grumpy lately with no reason, rejects food and doesn’t obey, I don’t reccommend you to keep her. If Dragalges can erode a ship’s hull with the poison they produce, this specimen won’t hesitate on killing you soon or later if you keep insisting on taking care of her.”
So she had multiple excuses for staying in this region. But that she wanted to find someone was the most interesting part of what she had said. Was he really that important to her? It was a little odd, but anyone would really do such just for someone they cared about. So he could understand it, somewhat.
“That’s understandable. With family here and your want to find this person, I suppose any person would stay.”
There wasn’t much Riley could say about it, he didn’t know this friend she was looking for anyway. So commenting on that wasn’t really worth it, was it? There wasn’t a point in making more comments on that, was there?
“I hope you find him soon.”
..Went out of his mind? So he went crazy? That’s rather terrible, but then why is she looking for him? Wouldn’t it be best to just leave him be? Let him well in his mind and to not bother him if he possibly didn’t want to be? These were just his thoughts, he didn’t know the man, so he didn’t know what he was trying to do, and why Cynthia is looking for him.
“Yeah, I guess you really can’t leave your role wide open, can you? People see you as their role model, after all.”
He paused, tapping his lip.
“You should always try to take a break from looking, though. You’ll stress and tire yourself out, okay? You can’t do all the things you want while in a weak state, alright?”
Luckily, Riley seemed to not be interested on knowing who was the person she was looking for. She hoped he would never attempt to know it, because maybe he could look for information trying to make her a favor, and everything would be revealed.
She wished her old friend would change the subject before the Champion's emotions would overwhelm her again. Fortunately, he did. Cynthia felt relief.
"Yes, my role model is another responsability of mine... I cannot leave it behind."
The Ex-Commander observed how he tapped his lip thoughtfully. She was surprised when the raven seemed to worry about her a little. Or, at least, that's how Cynthia interpreted it. She kept her smile on her lips.
"...You're right. I shouldn't force myself that much...
...I'll try. Even so I cannot avoid staying awake during a few hours after going to sleep, you know? I'm pretty worried. Sometimes I think what keeps me going is my own frustration.”
I just want to hear you say it.
I need you to say it out loud - — tell me I make you PROUD.
I just want to hear you say it - — say it a little louder, please.

“That’s…” Was Cynthia out of her mind?! She had to have seen how powerful Pen was - how she completely wiped the floor with most of his team. While Lucas had only been a trainer for less than a year at the time, the fact that his Pokemon barely survived should say something. And Pen was the one to challenge him - how would she respond if someone challenged her?
“That’s crazy! This isn’t just a dragon-type we’re talking about! Giratina was banished for being rebellious and violent - it could actually kill you and your Pokemon!”
"I know, but, if Giratina dares to hurt us, I'm afraid our only option will be to face it, and if the Renegade causes us death, I'll understand. After all, fate is what decides when our lives will end."
Why was she wasting her time? Lucas would never understand her words even if she explained him a thousand times, and his persistence was beginning to annoy the ex commander. Because their points of view were too different— their pasts, relationships and ideals were too divergent.
But Cynthia wasn't going to leave Cyrus to get even more rotten in that immoral place because of another one's opinion.
"Tell me, Lucas...
...What would you have done if the person who stayed in Distortion World was Hikari, and not Cyrus?"
Some Advice: Don't go into the Distortion World
“I will think about it… …only if you give me a solid reason.”
You are not the woman I knew.
“Everyone has their moments, and, eventually, everyone changes. I think that, since you’re God, you can understand and know that already. But, tell me something...
...We were mocking each other some weeks ago without malice, and now you’re telling me that we’re strangers because I’m not the woman you knew? Explain yourself.”

“It is possible that we won’t talk for a while, So I guess this is a temporal goodbye...”
...Or even worse.
For a moment, he was speechless. He hated to admit it, but Cynthia did seem to have a point. After so long in there, would he really change? Lucas spent what seemed to be mere hours in there, and he’s nowhere near the naive kid he was when he entered.
But if Cyrus did change at all…he would have gotten himself out by now. Or Pen would have just kicked him out, right? Speaking of which…
“What about Giratina? Did you ever stop to think about…what it might do?” It took some willpower not to refer to Giratina as ‘Pen’ or ‘she’ - as far as he knew, Cynthia knew nothing about his friendship with Pen.
"Giratina..."
Another obstacle in her way, apparently. The Renegade would be a problem if it didn't let her enter to the reversed world, or even return to the real one. She actually thought about the Legendary, but never dared to plan anything against it.
"...I guess it'll get in my way, so I'll take action if it attempts to attack us. Don't expect me to stand idly in that kind of situation."
