When asked what song she would like people to remember from 1989 if everyone’s memories has been erased, Taylor picked Clean.  Not Shake It Off, not Bad Blood, not Blank Space.  She didn’t pick a number one song that would be the most popular, she picked the one that she thought would help people the most when they’re going through hard times.

You know why I love Taylor Swift concerts?? Because the mom beside me was holding her daughter’s hand and dancing the entire night. The older guy in front of me knew every single lyric and went absolutely crazy when Taylor played his favorite song. The 7 year old girl at the end of my row jumped up and down and sang her heart out. The older couple 3 rows up sang every song on their date night. Everyone is so different and yet we’re all the same.
