He couldn’t even look at her. He still managed to rest his hand on top of one of her own, though, assuring she didn’t do anything wrong, just in case she was thinking that. Everything was difficult and a chore; there were walls he had to climb in order to get from point A to point B, and he was so tired.
“..I’m sorry.” He was actually apologizing for way more than just appearing so glum in front of her.
The ginger cocked a brow && studied her boyfriend’s features carefully, as if those sad little puppy eyes would let her in on what’s going on inside his head. His random apology just adds onto her curiosity, && the hand that was previously on his shoulder moved up to rest on the side of his face.

As baby blues avoided emerald greens, Wendy’s free hand found its place on Danny’s other cheek && gently forced him to look at her.

❤ okay so nvm that i cheated and used ml fanart for the banner!! i just wanted to say: it’s been a long, rocky road rping pacifica, but a happy one. after three years, i can safely say that she is a part of me, as is the GF community. it’s all become my safe space, where i always had friends and where i could come back to when real life got too rough. from the way i built her up to be way before her key episode, to the night it aired (and i freaked out because wow!! i’m still amazed i got her backstory right!), to the stunning finale the crew gave us. to all of the people that came and went, to all of those that held me through thick and thin, to you, friend, old or new. i just wanted to say: thank you. for everything. you guys have been the best people to be around for much longer than i would have ever expected when i started this blog. just… you’re the best.

The raven-haired boy didn’t notice Wendy rounding the corner to where he sat outside Elmer’s pharmacy & icecream®, deep in self-loathing, but mostly how he wanted to make things right, but couldn’t. No matter what he tried or did, it backfired and only made things worse.
What was wrong with him? He even hated this self-pity party he was having, but he couldn’t stop feeling that way. He wanted to be helped, to be fixed, but therapy wasn’t doing it for him, and his mom and dad still didn’t get everything he tried to explain to them. He was just making napkin-airplanes at the table he was sitting at outside.
Almost oblivious to the many signs of despondency && dejection coming from the noirette, cunning instincts begged her to use the element of surprise. Green eyes locked on her target, the lumberjack skids her bottom across the table, causing a parade of paper airplanes to go flying in distinct directions around them.
❝HEY DOOFUS.❞
Ivories peek through slightly chapped lips, creating a useless barrier for muffled laughter. Said laughter ceased once the ginger realized her boyfriend wasn’t laughing along. Immediately, her compassionate insight kicked in, which only occurred when she knew for a fact something was up. Crossed legs propped on the table as a pale hand moved to rest on the boy’s tense shoulder.
