There is going to be ANOTHER Toy Story!

Now don’t get me wrong, I am totally one of those people who really isn't a fan of sequels. However, when it comes to Pixar and Disney I feel like they can do whatever they want and it will be amazing.

According to IMDB the plot for this movie is going to be about what happened to Bo Peep. Which could be an interesting plot point, but I think most of us when we saw Toy Story 3, we just assumed that she was sold at a yard sale. So it should be interesting to see what actually happened, because I think John Lasseter wanted us to just assume.

Unfortunately, we are going to wait for this one. We all now that Pixar movies take at least 3 years to make, and this is no exception. This movie is expected to hit theaters June 15, 2018.

John Lasseter has said that Pixar would only make a fourth movie if it was just as good as or better than the previous three movies in the franchise, saying, "We don't want to do anything with [these characters] unless it lives up to or surpasses what's gone before.” So that gives me hope that this will be a good movie and if it turns out not to be they will scrap the whole thing before it hits production (since its still in the pre-production stage). it wouldn’t be the first time this has happened…. remember Newt.

The story for Toy Story 4 (2017) was created by John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter, and Lee Unkrich. After they established a story outline for Toy Story 4 (2017), John Lasseter officially announced the project, saying, "Toy Story 3 (2010) ended Woody and Buzz's story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another Toy Story movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee, and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie - and I wanted to direct it myself.”

Anyway, I have high expectations for this movie simply because it’s a Disney/ Pixar movie. So the IMDB page for this movie doesn’t really have a lot of info because the movie is so far out but you can still check it out here.

“Darkness. That’s first thing I remember. It was dark, it was cold, and I was scared. But then… then I saw the Moon. It was so big, and it was so bright. It seemed to, chase the darkness away. And when it did… I wasn’t scared anymore. Why I was there and what I was meant to do, that I’ve never known, and a part of me wonders if I ever will.”
