(The Greatest Living Show)

It was a great honor to make this animation for Mr. Toby's beautiful song! Please listen to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFow8LkHtlU

If you would like to buy my art book for this animation I would be very grateful...! 。゚(人´∀`*)゚。 So I can make more original productions in the future. https://www.fangamer.com/products/the-greatest-living-show-art-book?variant=41195106926649

during the two years you spent working on the music video, how much time did you need to dedicate to making it?

like, was it a side-project for you, or was that your primary obligation for they whole time?

either way, as soon as I learned you spent two years on it I bought the art book right away. that much commitment to a work of art deserves to be cherished

Oh thank you very much for your kind support!! (( ╥ ω ╥ ))♡ (and also a big thanks to everyone else sending me nice messages in my inbox) It was basically a full time job! I worked everyday and night... on weekends and hollidays. I am very slow when it comes to animation or drawing in general because I always go back to improve it again. But if it would not be for my chronic arm pain, I think I could have done it in less than a year... I felt very bad for taking so long and even had to rest an entire month when I overworked and got strong tendon inflammation again ... *sob* But either way! I am happy it is finaly out now! (人^ω^ *) And I have lots of tasty extra drawings for the art book, so you can look forward to that! Hehe! (It is all thanks to Mr. Toby... *sob sob*)

Hi! I love your art style and I wanted to ask you questions about learning art and style. How did you learn to draw in your style? Did you study art in art school or on your own and what exactly did you study (anatomy, pespective something else)? Or have you studied other artists work and learned that way? And how long does it take you to finish one artwork usually? You are one of my favourite artists.

Hello! Thank you for your message. I have not studied in any kind of form that needs money because I was raised in a poor state. I am a little sad I could never go to an art school, but from what I heard, it seems rather useless, haha. And as long as you have great passion and determination you can reach your dreams alone... Because studying can be done quite solely, I study my own body in the mirror (that may sound weird now) but nature truly is the best artist after all... but I guess it is why my characters all look like me now... wah.

When I was young I read a lot of manga and was really in love with these art styles, that was in the 90s and early 2000s... I love bishounen art styles the most... now I am rather mainly inspired by old master who draw in oil... I love to mix a bishounen style with it... It is my biggest motivations to draw the most beautiful person one day. (Ah a painting can take up to 6-8 hours when it's easy... and a whole week when I tend to start a new and it's complex...! I am a little bit of a perfectionist *sob*) I don't have much a clue about history and art, but I just search the internet for many beautiful pieces from hundreds of years ago... it always inspires me because I feel like I can never become this good. So I hope I will never become this good or I will lose my main inspiration haha. I hope more people can appreciate art that now seems forgotten...
