I firmly believe that there’s a “right” time to read a certain book. It’s okay if you’re interested in a book and it sits on your shelf for years. Maybe it didn’t call out to you when you wanted something to read because it was waiting for the right time to mean the most to you. Not saying this is always the case, but this has happened enough to recognize the magic.

I fell in love with quotes at a very young age. I guess it was interesting to me that someone else is able to unknowingly express my thoughts when I’m at a loss for words; it has me wasting hours on the simple thought that our minds must have soulmates too.

I’ve always been a huge advocate of teens helping teens and speaking out on self confidence and body issues. I’m such a strong believer in open communication with young people to promote the idea that you are not alone in what you go through. I go through the same things you go through, even though you might not believe it. I’ve had my fair share of experiences and insecurities.
