stuff to know about latinx ppls: • we don’t all speak spanish • if we do speak spanish, we probably have different dialect, pronunciation, slang, and even curse words, based on nationality / origin / where we currently live • we r not “”“Spanish”“” • we don’t like being called hispanic • not all of us ARE hispanic • not all latinx countries make empanadas, arepas, pupusas, horchata and so many other foods. usually each food is regional, meaning that carribean latinx and central american latinx probably make different cultural food • we have different music • not all of us are mexican • mexican culture doesn’t equal all latinx culture • we can be black • we actually come in multiple races and different skin colors • cinco de mayo is only a Mexican holiday and only for a specific town in Mexico and it’s NOT Mexican independence day • tequila is only mexican • there’s multiple versions of tamales • we may have different definitions for our words, for example; quesadillas can be a cheesy tortilla or a pastry, pastelitos can be cupcakes or tamales, a torta can be a sandwich or a cake, etc. • your highs school spanish is spainard Spanish which almost no latinx speaks • we all have different cultures based on location, region, country, location within that country. so stop assuming we’re all the same

I’m gonna live my life. I can’t ever run and hide, I won’t compromise 'Cause I’ll never know, I’m gonna close my eyes I can’t watch the time go by I won’t keep it inside. Freak out let it go, Just freak out let it go.

I think the reason I’m disappointed is because I always have supported Taylor in her business endeavors, but this is different. She’s now asking us not to pay $4 to buy a music video, or even $10, but $10 a MONTH to have the music video. As an artist who as always represented herself as someone who asks extremely little of her fans (i.e.: inviting them to her house, 13 hour meet and greet, never having to pay to meet her) the fact that this music video is “only on Apple Music” upsets me because even though I do HAVE $10 a month to shell out on Apple Music, not everyone does. In addition, the “three month free trial” argument is void now. Most Swifties began their trial on or before December 31 to watch the 1989 World Tour Live. That means their trial ended on March 31. Well, it’s April 6. you can’t tell me that wasn’t planned. I realize it’s probably Apple requiring Taylor through her contract to only release the video there or something like that but it’s not like she blindly signed it… Now Swifties HAVE to buy Apple Music to legally watch the video. I hope Taylor does not continue to release music videos this way, because it’s disappointing and will only result in her music video being illegally uploaded to countless sites in countless ways. Taylor, I love you to the moon and back, but please remember the middle and lower class fans who have to watch what they spend. We love the music video - we only wish it didn’t cost us so much to watch it.

Middle class fan here. I actually have 10 dollars because I have save my money for a lot of time. I spend my money usually on important things. I have to admit that I have never paid for a son on Itunes. I have bought every taylor album and i'm really proud because I've bought it with my own money. I don't work because I'm 14 years old. All the money I have got is from gifts on christmas or from my birthday. I wish I could spend my money in songs on Itunes or in games that costs. But I can't because I want a lot and I can't afford it. I wish I can. I always supoort Taylor in everything I can. But I can't. I don't have a credit card to pay 10 dollars a month. Most people may think this is not too much but you have to pay it every month. I'm not going to pay 10 dollars just for a music video, is a complete service.

@taylorswift It's my 14th birthday!!! That means that I've had this blog for more than a year. Look at my balloons! This last year has been awesome. I've lived a lot of new experiences as a teenager. Obviously, all is not as happy as we wish it but your music is what saved me. I'm happy to say that you are my role model no matter what. Thank you for the music you gave to us, that make us sing it proudly, jump as high as we can, dance 24/7, and well also scream it in the car. I want to thank you for helped me to discover myself and to made me feel confident with who i am. I have travel for the first time to other countries having 13 years old and I feel I have discovered the world. I have feel comfortable dancing on my own having 13. Many things have happened having 13, good and bad things. But the most important, is that I have you. Thank you, thank you. Words are not enough to say how thankful I am. ❤ From the girl who's called taylor obessed at school and its okay with that -a.k.a Ana- To the best role model not just me, but a lot are lucky to have. Taylor.

Looking back on the highlights of my life, there’s a moment I’ll never forget from a day in London about two years ago. I was in town to play the O2 and I was out shopping on my day off. My friend Ed Sheeran met up with me in this little shop where I was buying ballet shoes. He walks in and says “you have to hear this new song. I think it’s the best one I’ve ever written.” And then, as usual, he pulls out his phone and gives me headphones. I sat there on a bench in that store and heard ‘Thinking Out Loud’ for the first time, as little kids were picking out tutus and leotards next to us. Little did we know it would go on to be first dance song at countless weddings all over the world, become Ed’s biggest hit, and eventually go on to win him Song of the Year at the 2016 Grammys. Ed and I had been on tour together all year on the Red Tour and we saw each other almost every day. I lived for the moments he would burst into my dressing room with a new song to play me. It happened so often that it became normal, and I don’t think he ever knew how much it meant to me that he wanted me to hear his songs first. I don’t think he ever knew how inspired I was by his drive and passion to constantly create new art. But it’s his 25th birthday today, so I’m saying it now. You deserve everything you have, and everything you will continue to achieve, Ed.

And an extra congratulations to the incredible Amy Wadge for your two Grammys.

I met her when I was 10 days old, and him in kindergarten. Now they’re married and I’m the happiest maid of honor ever. Congratulations @britmaack and Ben!
