you can love a character & still admit when they’re wrong. i love feyre archeron but i acknowledge her flaws (none she’s perfect) & can hold her accountable for her wrongdoings (she’s never done anything wrong in her life) & call her out on her actions (which are always right)
often horror will ask the question “what if there was a strange man outside your door?” and my answer is Well i would not like that very much. real life is like this, too
Halloween is so utterly distinct from every other holiday because it’s literally just about being weird and spooky and having fun. There’s horror movies on tv constantly and the stores are packed with decorations of spiderwebs and fake blood and you can dress as some rotting blood-splattered ghoul and that will be seen as awesome. Baking shows feature challenges where you compete to make the most disturbing and terrifying creations possible. Even commercials and ads often feature horror tropes and monsters. You can celebrate however you want, too; there’s no requirement for family gatherings or specific foods you have to eat or a certain way you’re expected to feel. The world just becomes a little strange and creepy for a month and then goes back to Family-Friendly Happy Times. It’s like Socially Mandated Goth Month and it makes me feel at home
Jameson “anti-hero” Hawthorne ♡ Avery “You are on your own kid” Grambs.
love being in bed under big winter covers i feel like an old king dying of illness telling his last will to his son
there should be a national break from school and work in october for watching scary movies and reading gothic literature. and for sitting on the porch & hanging up string lights. i think.
you do not have permission to stop caring about vampires just because october is over btw. vampires are a year round event
Okay but wait, in acosf when Azriel, Cassian, Rhys, and Amren are debating telling Nesta about her Made weapons, why is it that all of a sudden Azriel and Cassian care about whether it's right to keep an important secret from someone? 🤨 When like 2 weeks before they were all fine and cool about not telling Feyre a (objectively worse) secret? And afterwards are mad that Nesta told Feyre? 🤨
"iTs nOt RiGhT tO KeEp iT FrOm nEsTa" YOU BITCH ITS NOT RIGHT TO KEEP IT FROM FEYRE EITHER
idk like i’d like to think Twitter helped my career a bit in terms of networking - even though I stopped using Twitter the past few months bc social media is legit rotting my brain (!!) it feels weird. Everything else feels so video based and video content is the last thing I wanna make rn in this phase of my life
yknow the thought of Twitter shutting down shouldn’t send me into a spiral bc there are a lot of websites I cared about that have come and gone but I know I’m gonna lose touch with a lot of people and that sucks a lot

I need Ned locked in a pillory so we can all chuck tomatoes at him.
Step right up, step right up!
Throw those tomaters!
i condone emily laughlin slander because rebecca deserves so much more ❤️❤️
quinta brunson winning an emmy, shane and ryan premiering ghost files and ned being kicked out of try guys all in a span of two weeks... what a time to be alive for people who were really into buzzfeed in like 2016
yes critical analysis of media is super valuable but I think suspension of disbelief isn't practiced enough
"the beginning relied so much on fate/chance meetings/a bizarre set of circumstances that could have solved the conflict if avoided" babe that's an inciting incident
