Hello dear friends. I am trying to move across the country soon and let go of things in my life and I have all these perks from omgcp kickstarter 2 and 3. I’d like to sell them to someone who was a big check please fan but never got these fun things! 

included are 2 pie zines, all the poster-card sets, 2 sticker sets, 2 posters, a samwell and a falconers patch, a bookplate that is signed by Ngozi that you can put into any of the books you already own, and the 2 pendants!

Sonali Deraniyagala with her wife, Fiona Shaw.

Fiona met Sonali in 2014 after reading Sonali’s acclaimed grief memoir, Wave. They married in 2018.

Fiona said: “We spent half an hour chatting. When I left I thought, ‘I have just met life’. Very quickly I thought, I just want to live with this person — and it’s been one of the most marvellous things to happen but it was also highly unlikely. Thankfully, she thought the same and it’s been a beautiful thing to happen at this stage of my life.”

I’ve read Wave and it’s a devastating book. Sonali Deraniyagala survived the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami, which killed her husband, two children, parents, best friend, and best friend’s mother. How wonderful that she and Fiona Shaw found each other.

no offence but i think a lot of us me included don’t actually want romantic love as badly as we think and really are just lonely and crave a closeness and intimacy that feels out of reach in friendships because of society’s emphasis on marriage and the nuclear family so we project that into the never ending search for a perfect love and a soulmate when really we all just want to mean something to someone
