[ lmao tumblr updates got me so frustrated roleplay wise i didn’t come on here for a good while
srsly why does tumblr think these updates were a good choice, just let us delete individual comments wow
anyway, did find some extensions to use but my browser keeps deleting them so until i can fix that i’ll continue to be a little quiet around here. sorry about that to anyone who’s been waiting on replies from me and to those who recently followed! ;; ]
Bubbles could only grin at her sister in response. She knew that it just felt like it had been forever since she’d been around her sister. She could almost see why people would say she was like a puppy - at least when Blossom was around.
“ Not really ! I’m only giving out some missions. “
Even then there wasn’t actually that many recruits coming in for any recently, it seemed like most of the time when Blossom came around people tended to keep away. She wasn’t exactly sure why, but at least it normally meant she could talk to her sister for a while.
“ Are you busy - I mean you’re normally doing something important. “
Her sister certainly wasn’t wrong with her statement. Between the both of them, Blossom was arguably the most busiest and was almost always off either doing something important, helping out recruits or offering a hand in missions. Today, however, was one of those rare treats. Her duties finished in the morning with nothing new coming in for her to do allowed her for a chance of a small break.
An opportunity she didn’t want to spend alone.
“I have some time off for myself today,” Blossom responded, following it with a smile. “If you’re available for a short break too, would you like to come do something with me? I’m thinking a picnic out somewhere.”

“To be honest, Peach Creek has been a bit emptier than usual.” Eddy answered.
“In fact, aside from you, Ben, Numbuh Five and some of the recruits, I barely heard from anyone about the war.”
“Oh. You’ve been having trouble getting into contact with everyone else too?” Blossom let out a sigh.
“This lack of communication is getting me more concerned with each passing day. I can’t even get in touch with Dexter. I hope nothing particularly bad has happened with anyone.”

“ Blossom ! I missed you ! “
The blonde Puff threw herself at her sister. It hadn’t been long at all considering, but Bubbles always found herself missing her sister often. She was probably being a little clingy - she always had been, but with fusions hanging around she’d only gotten worse.
“ It’s been forever ! “
Feeling the sudden embrace of her ‘younger’ ( technically they were born at the same time, but she tended to consider Bubbles her younger ) sister, Blossom let out a sigh and a small frown.
“Bubbles, we had breakfast together this morning. It’s only been a few hours, not forever,” she corrected her. The leader Puff wrapped her own arms to hug her sister in a tight hold, unable to resist. Ever since the disappearance of Buttercup, Blossom found herself hugging Bubbles as often as she could. One of the few ways her inner fear of losing her other sister showed itself.
“Hey, so are you busy at the moment?” she asked, letting go.

“Yeah, you should probably do that.” Eddy replied. “You might also need to check on Chowder. I heard he’s helping Father build a giant birthday cake and he’s really excited about it, this being his first solo project and junk.”
“Giant birthday cake? Someone’s trying to have a birthday party amidst all this going on?” With a sigh, Blossom nodded and made a mental note. “Sure, I’ll go do that.” She lifted her feet off the ground to hover a few feet up in the air.
“I have a few minutes to spare, so how have things been, Eddy?”

“ Yeah, his Guide position probably makes him four times busier than the other heroes. I wrote him a message, so when he has some free time, he’ll read it.”
“ Yep, today I’m helping him. Even if staying sat down
and playing at his secretary isn’t funny at all. For once,
I’d prefer doing missions than being here.
What do I do for love .”
“Being a Guide, scientist, inventor, company owner and all the extra work he’s putting out towards our cause against Fuse? Make it five times busier. It’s quite impressive how he’s able to be on task with everything.”
“Playing as his secretary? Wait a minute... I may have heard of you. Would your name happen to be Kimiko?”
“You’d be surprised with what cardboard can do, actually.” Eddy sits back on his throne of cardboard and wood. “And it sounds like Townsville is still safe. So, it’s nothing to sweat over. As for the Fusion Monsters outside the fortress, Ranger Joey told me they went and migrated to Hookslice Hills. You know, the place that’s filled with snobs.”
Blossom crossed her arms and smiled. “All right then, surprise me. What else can cardboard do that’s as impressive as creating a sturdy fortress?”
At the mention of Hookslice Hills, she shifted her feet. “Yeah. The Professor’s still bummed that the Country Club there got infected. If they’re migrating... I guess I’ll see if Father could use extra backup there.”
“ Ooops, my bad, then. You guys aren’t dating yet.
And of course! He will be immediately informed by
yours truly. Even if it will be really hard to contact
him since he’s always busy, I’ll try my best. ”
“Right... Well, thank you. Boy do I know that though. I’ve been trying to get into contact with him for the past hour. So are you here helping out Dexter today?”

“Hang on. Girlfriend? I know I’m working with him often but we’re not dating. Anyway, could you let Dexter know that the Sky Drone issue has been taken care of? They tried taking over Tech Square again so we took a good chunk of their army out."

They take one single hop towards me and they’re left in piles of goo. I got it covered. No bandits got their dirty mitts on that candy stash of yours?
“Eh, some wear and tear here and there, but it’s nothing major. The Urban Rangers are patching up any damage the walls endured. So, we’re doing fine” Eddy mused.
“So, how’s Townsville? Any major problems going on over there?” Eddy inquired.
“Nothing’s broken through?” The Powerpuff lowered her feet onto the ground and looked around. “Good, good. It still amazes me how well this fortress keeps up, considering it’s... Well. Cardboard.”
Blossom put her knuckles on her hips. “We did have a sudden increase of Heavy Hunters appear around the Center, but when I got there Bubbles and a group of recruits had already lightened their numbers. Aside from that, nothing too major to report. Thankfully,” she responded.
“On that note. Have the Fusion Monsters outside here been behaving? Any trouble with them lately?”
