The best thing is that you can see Keira preparing to internalize/ignore it, and Benedict speaking up gives her the opportunity to not do that. Her eyes close, then she smiles, nods, and lets it go, and that’s beautiful.
Trust in Benedict to defend a woman being treated like this.
I think it’s also important to stress that she did not, in fact, look worn out.
"It was amazing to work with Benedict on this. He was with us for one day and a lot of my scenes with him were kind of listenening to him tell his story... I mean, he´s such a skilled actor and is incredibly generous and fond. We had this sequence where we had to dance and we were all a bit nervous, a bit anxious but he just went for it, you know. He´s all about the work, yeah it was amazing, it was so great to work with him." x "We'd been shooting for a good few weeks. It was a Friday night. When we got to the dance part, we had ten minutes, two takes. The moon was so full, we put the music on and it was incredibly cathartic. I think as well because it was an intense shoot, and we just had this moment where we could kind of let go. Everyone was vibrating, which was nice. It gives such a huge release for the characters, it's that split second where they lose all inhibitions and forget the reality of where they are.
