Issue 5! Finally!!!!

Here is the link to Issue 5!

Share it & connect with us on Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook, and be sure to tag us! Links are at the bottom.

We encourage you to tell your friends to submit to Issue 6, and even to submit yourself. Please note that we will have a longer timeframe this time, since we totally underestimated the amount of time it would take to put this issue together with our busy schedules. We are working on a timeframe for the future, and we will let you know soon via social media and our website.

We have also not been able to release this issue in print, but we are working on it for the future. Considering all of the setbacks, we hope that the magazine lives up to your expectations. We are doing some reshuffling of our leadership team, since we have changed and our interests have shifted over the years. Please give us your feedback so we can be the best magazine we can be.

Thank you all! We wouldn’t be able to do this without you.

Best,

The Riveter Review

Announcement...

After a 3+ month delay, we are going to release Issue 5! Thank you for bearing with us in this time of transition. We do this for free with absolutely no budget, and can only work on it when we have free time, which is very rare these days, since we are busy college students.

We started this with the hope of having a few friends and peers, read & submit to the mag, but the response has been way stronger than we expected. Which is wonderful and we are so thankful for your patience and continued interest and support.

We are working on some fundraising/restructuring soon so that we can give this project the attention it deserves, but for now, LOOK OUT FOR ISSUE 5!

Don’t forget...

Submissions are open for Issue 6! Just because we are working on Issue 5 doesn’t mean that you can’t submit your work to Issue 6!

Here are the guidelines if you need a refresher!

Sometimes, we “like” poets that we like. If we like your post with your own work, submit the piece! We can’t guarantee that we will accept it but it’s worth a shot! ;)

Happy submitting, Riveters!

The Riveter Review is a literary arts magazine that celebrates feminist creative work & we are collecting submissions for Issue 5.

Our goal is to offer marginalized voices an audience and to curate a collection of feminist-themed pieces (from both women and men) so that our readers have a community of shared experiences and support.

If you believe in equal rights and are a poet, activist, songwriter, photographer, illustrator, writer, sculptor, painter, digital artist, collage artist or anything in between, please submit! If you are a previous contributor, please reblog and spread the word!
