you know, ive always been really proud of taylor for not having paid meet and greets, because i think it’s pretty ridiculous for famous people to put such an expensive pricetag on a few minutes of their time. ive always been so proud of how taylor treats her fans and puts us first, and genuinely cares about us.
but these merch prices? these current ticket prices? make me pretty ashamed. charging $700+ for fans to be able to stand near the stage is ridiculous. charging $125 for a hoodie is ridiculous. and not giving us any information? ignoring all of our questions? is fucking ridiculous.
i love taylor with all my heart, but it’s truly heartbreaking to watch us constantly be squeezed for money, to watch a large majority of this fandom be completely unable to attend her concerts or wear her merch. if this is an era for the fans then things need to change, because right now all it has been is an era for the rich fans, and an era for using our love of her to their advantage.

i love you @taylorswift @taylornation but i hope you realise how unfair it is for international fans that, after all of the support we’ve given you over the years we get:
- ridiculously overpriced merch (not to mention the fact that up until now we’ve only gotten shitty merch because the us merch was not available to us)
- ridiculously overpriced tour tickets
- three (3) concerts as the european leg of the tour, two of which are in england and the other one in ireland. fucking ridiculous it’s not even mainland europe
- subscription services (for us fans of course) to watch “exclusive” videos???
- the album wasn’t even available in a lot of south american countries
- of course you never tour in south america either. you barely tour asia either. hope you don’t forget all about australia now
- you’re not even answering our questions, questions which could save us all sorts of economical issues and you know, getting our hopes up for nothing
we know how much effort you put in meeting fans, esp recently and we do really appreciate the secret sessions and all of that stuff but at the end of the day
- you’re favouring the wealthy part of the fandom that can afford to buy several copies of the same album and the best tickets for one or several concerts
- you’re favouring the us part of the fandom, as if any of us had chosen to be born where we were or as if we had chosen not to be able to afford going elsewhere to see you
- and you’re constantly favouring the part of the fandom that you’ve already met and given the chance to see you, on top of it
it almost feels like you don’t want to meet all of us, just some of us. just the ones that you like. and you are allowed not to like us all but considering that if it wasn’t for all of us you wouldn’t repeatedly be n1 and sell out stadium after stadium… it’s just in times like this, where we’re struggling and you’re not standing up for us, that
it feels like you may not have all of our backs after all. just some of ours.
