I need to get Confirmed

Dang I way over due to recieve Comfirmation. I never got the chance to go through the classes in high school because I really didn’t know about it too much back then. But now that i’m older i’m glad, because I know when I do the adult classes for confirmation it’s because I want to do it willingly and not because i’m forced by my parents or my parish recommends all 15-17 year olds must go recieve comfirmation at that age. Hopefully by next year I will. Then after that I can pray for my vocation xD

I want to go to the Papal Basilica of Saint Peter one day.

UPDATE DEC 2022: I got confirmed 2014, I went to Italy and saw the Basilica of St. Peter in 2017, I married the love of my life Feb 29, 2020 and now I have a beautiful daughter and another one on the way :)

I think I know the reason why I do this. Why I like to train, why I show up even though I’m exhausted from everything, even if I might have better things to do. I show up because it’s one of the very few things that keeps my mind off of the stress of everyday life, keeps my mind off of the crap you see and hear on tv, and the horrible vices of the world, it keeps me on my toes, knowing if I screw up today or if I let these first world problems get to my head i’m going to literally get my ass kicked from not focusing. It teaches me humility esp. when I lose and my life/consciousness/limbs are in jeopardy if I don’t admit defeat. It teaches me to breathe under stressful situations which I still need work on in daily life. I don’t do it to be the best or show boat, I do it because in a way it’s a weird blessing that I need. I’ve never been a good student in school even now but for some reason I need to be a good student in order to excel to something better. There’s something cool about being in a class knowing you can go 100% to lay it all down and that the people around you can literally be capable of beating you in the most technical ways but have a respect that isn’t really about proving anything to anyone but learning for themselves.
