I still get slandered on the regular, and it’s mostly by lighter skinned girls

I wouldn’t say it’s “the wave” (speaking solely on behalf of my personal experience) but it’s definitely refreshing that more people are standing up for us and speaking out against colorism.

I literally just mentioned that to someone today. Dark skin is in and in the Media a lot of people are more accepting of it now. I’m mad it hasn’t translated to some black communities though
