I'm happy with Watcher's apology and changes. I still think it was a wild choice to roll it out in the first place, but I'm glad they listened and adjusted. I'll keep following for sure.
P.s. you don't have to like Steven or his content but some of the comments out there about him were so so nasty. It's one thing to be like "i dont wanna fund Worth It" and criticize the tone deaf comment of "everyone can afford it." That's valid. But it's quite another thing to attack him and paint him as an evil mastermind.
Lets be better than that.

i unsubbed from Watcher today but the people acting like steven lim is the devil and is singularly to blame for Watcher shifting to paywalled streaming are weirdos.
Yeah it's a lot.
I DO think if they're worried about money they should stop with the very expensive shows like Worth It. (Or paywall those and leave the less-expensive ones on youtube)
But attacking Steven is weird because there's no way he "forced" Ryan and Shane into this.
