100 Days of Productivity #4 - Day 7/100 August 4, 2018

The (long-awaited) English extension transcript has finally been completed! Starting at a messy brainstorm of concepts and theories, making its way to 2200 words, to 1700 words, to 1300 words, and finally to 950 words, I managed to consolidate my work into a succinct response that I’m happy with! Tomorrow marks the day of filming and editing - should be fun!

On another note, I’ve nearly finished reading (or listening to, I should say) Harry Potter and the Prisoner is Azkaban! (12 hours of my life has been invested into this one audiobook, along with my emotional stability).

100 Days of Productivity x3 - Day 59/100 July 22, 2018

I spent today writing notes on the themes and symbols in Othello, as well as listening to the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone audiobook (which I’m absolutely loving!) I definitely didn’t get though all the tasks I had wanted to these holidays, and so I really do want to have those complete by the end of this first week back at school. I’ll wake up early each morning to complete each task, and spend the weekend catching up on whatever I have left to do. My goal for the upcoming term is to keep on top of my class notes so that writing topic notes for revision doesn’t become too much of a burden - I think that’s a really important habit to get into. If anyone has any advice on keeping on top of notes, please share!

today was theoretically a reading day. it should have been a packing day. but, nope. I didn’t even get through much of the book or my class materials, though. anyone else have the problem that they just can’t focus on anything during the summer?

• august 6th - august 7th • 30 days of productivity

I can’t believe I’ve actually managed to ‘complete’ this. It’s hard to stay productive during summer so I’m proud of myself for trying to do at least one productive thing every day.

I can’t promise I’ll keep this regular daily/almost daily updates but I will try my best to keep sharing snippets of my life and I’ll sure post more ‘studyblr’ focused posts once university starts in September.

-back to my university-

I am finally settled back in. Classes do not officially begin until August 20th, but I moved back early to focus on one thing: LSAT.

For the next few weeks my days will look like that picture of my google calendar. I’ll be positing everyday on the progress, so feel free to follow my LSAT boot camp journey.

Hope all is well for each of you, xx

It’s okay to romanticise the small things about your day-to-day life. It’s okay to romanticise sleeping in, waking up to the sun tickling your skin. It’s okay to romanticise the texture of fingers against a page. Sometimes to save your day you need to romanticise sitting at a desk and working, or romanticise studying hyped up on coffee. It’s okay to picture yourself as if you were the mc in a movie. Watch yourself go through shit and know that it’s just the climax of your own story, and that while you sit in your room sobbing to sad songs, good things are just around the corner.

Sometimes to be okay or get through the day you need to romanticise the simple things.
