Think about it. If puppet master Wes’ world is a world of silence it would be SO much more harder to thrive in than it is already. You have no clue as to what’s coming for you so you have to stay vigilant. Hell you might be too paranoid to sleep because there could be something there and you can’t hear it. Then if survivors are working together they wouldn’t hear each other call for help if he has took en away ALL sound from everyone and everything or even worse he doesn’t take away your voice but there’s a punishment of death if you make a single sound…
