I'll tell you why sns>ss. Because while both sakura and naruto shared the same goal to save sasuke, only naruto can truly do anything useful. Sakura had good intentions, but her pleas always fell on deaf ears. Naruto actually succeeded where sakura failed. Her efforts are commendable but ultimately pointless. Ss are now married, but naruto will always be the one truly linked to sasuke in a way sakura could never measure up to

Okay, and now I’ll tell you why that logic is flawed.

That’s like trying to convince person A, who has a choice between person B and person C, to choose the latter solely because that person had a crucial role in securing person A’s job. Person B tried just as hard, but unfortunately they didn’t have the same connections as person C did, so there was nothing they could do about it. But regardless of that, person A should just choose person C because they succeeded, and should pay no attention to the effort that was put in. That’s how shallow your reasoning is; the only reason Naruto succeeded in saving Sasuke was because he had the strength to stop him.

You say that Sakura’s pleas always fell on deaf ears, but you have to remember that whenever Naruto pleaded, they too always fell on deaf ears, which was why the use of force was necessary, and it was a level of force that Sakura simply did not have. This was always gonna make it near impossible for her to succeed, because It was made clear multiple times that words were simply not going to be enough to get through to Sasuke; it had to be through the use of force.

Shikamaru made it clear just prior to leaving for the Sasuke retrieval mission:

Sasuke made it clear during their Pt.1 fight where he said that words were unnecessary, and highlighted the importance of their fists instead:

Naruto made it clear when he reminded Sasuke of those very same words during their reunion in the Land of Iron:

And Naruto again made it clear at the end of their Pt.2 fight, by indicating that the only way he got through to Sasuke was by smacking some sense into him. In fact, during that scene, he indicated this not once:

But twice:

It wasn’t due to some profound link between himself and Sasuke that Naruto was able to save him, it was because he had the strength to make it happen. But a person should never be judged by their success, but rather by their effort. Naruto and Sakura put in the same amount of effort in saving Sasuke from his hatred, that’s what matters.

Besides, whenever thinking about his former team mates in an affectionate manner, Sasuke always thought of both Naruto and Sakura in the same context; as dear comrades who were akin to his family:

He never placed Naruto on some sort of pedestal above Sakura in those instances where he demonstrated that he still held them to heart.

And lastly, Sakura’s efforts weren’t pointless; they were a part of what endeared her to Sasuke in the first place. There’s a reason she remains the only person in the series who Sasuke has ever thanked.
