Oregon vs. LSU Pre-game Info

Whose suspension will have a bigger impact this Saturday September 3, 2011 at Cowboy Stadium?  You could say that disciplinary action is the pre-game headline for both Oregon and LSU's football programs leading up to the "big game" Saturday.  While star CB and return man Cliff Harris has been suspended indefinitely, LSU's starting QB Jordan Jefferson's suspension seems to propose a larger challenge to overcome.  Losing the starting QB in the 45th ranked scoring offense in 2010 could spell trouble for LSU.  Even though backup QB Jarrett Lee has some proven experience, last years game winning touchdown pass against Florida, interceptions have plagued Lee in the past and Oregon has the defense to exploit that weakness; even despite the loss of Harris in the Oregon secondary.  Oregon was tied for 6th in 2010 for interceptions with 21 and had the 12th overall defense in points allowed.  Couple that with the 1st ranked scoring team in 2010 and you have a recipe for a 1-0 start for the Ducks.
