“Lets see….what else does this need?” The tattoo artist bit the pad of her thumb as she stared at the wall in front of her. The highschool had heard she was in town for a tattoo convention and seeing some of her artwork she’d been hired to do a couple of murals around the school.

This was her third in that day of working there so her hands were covered in paint, looking down the hall when she heard footsteps.

“Hey kid, this hallway is supposed to be closed! Did you need something?”

Aya set down her pain brush, wiping her hands off on the hand towel hanging from her waistband. She certainly stood out among the people on campus, even if she didn’t look much older than them. Covered in tattoos, with brightly colored hair, punk clothing and a multitude of piercings.

Tamaki was walking the halls of Ouran Academy, heading to the club room, as per usual. There was no sessions today, but they were meeting up to discuss themes for future events.

He was taking his time as he normally would, heading down through his normal route, when he realised the time. He was late! How could he have lost track of the time??

Tamaki picked up the pace and decided to cut down a corridor he only goes down if he is extremely late, being that it is normally filled with his regulars, and they would always attempt to stop him for a chat if he didn’t appear to be rushing.

Halfway through the hall he began to notice that it was unusually empty, when suddenly he heard a voice, scolding him as she hurried through. He stopped abruptly, thinking he was in trouble for something, but instead of actually stopping, he tripped over something on the floor and toppled over.

Tamaki stayed there not moving for a moment, attempting to process what just occurred. How embarrassing.

“I’m fine” He muttered through his lips semi-confidently as he began to push himself up from the tiled floor.

“Oh jeez, are you okay kid?” The young artist hurried over to help him up off the floor. He had tripped over an empty paint can that she had set to the side, she took one of his hands to help him too his feet. Though once he was standing he would be over a foot taller than her.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you. I could have sworn they closed off the hallway while I’m working.” Her serpent like eyes focused on his appearence, most definitely a student. “Where were you hurrying off to?” Her Japanese…really wasn’t that great, mediocre at best and she had a fairly obvious accent.

Tamaki accepted the help as he was asked if he was okay.

He stood straight and dusted himself off and inhaled deeply.

“I am quite alright, thank you so much!” He stated in response.

Tamaki looked around the hall and realised that this must be the reason that the area seemed empty.

“You probably did close off the hallway, I am known to miss simple things. So please do not worry.” Tamaki explained.

“I am heading to my club, we are discussing things, and as I am the one who runs the club, I was on the verge of being late, so I panicked and ran down here” He laughed nervously.

Juliet smiled. “Yeah, I get it,” she said. She moved closer and cupped his cheeks. “This feels right. Like… a puzzle piece.” She gently kissed him, getting on her toes to reach him.

Tamaki felt her reach, so in response as she kissed him, he leant down to fully embrace her.

Juliet melted into his embrace, tucking her head under his chin once the kiss was broken. She’d waited so long to do this. Hold herself close to him and feel his heart under her cheek. “I love you,” she whispered.

He heard her confess her feelings in a hushed voice.

“And I…” He began gently, whispering into her ear

“Love you too.” He stated simply.

She couldn’t stop the stupid smile that spread across her face, nor the butterflies flying around her chest. She glanced up at him, taking in the violet eyes and kind smile. “You asked me if I wanted to go back to England,” she said. “No. England doesn’t have you.”

Tamaki couldn’t help but blush in response. Her statement was the sweetest thing he had ever heard. As he grew up in France, he understood the importance and the homesickness that come with moving, so that statement meant a lot. ALOT.

He couldn't have asked for a sweeter person in his life.

“That is so sweet, for once, someone else took my breath away.”

This response of his was both true in a literal sense and a metaphorical sense.

She was so amazing, that he felt bewildered, and speechless, and if anyone knows Tamaki, it takes a lot to get him to stop talking.

Angel followed close behind him and sat across from him before pulling out her homemade lunch. Listening to him as she began to eat.
“Well…” Angel trailed off as she began to think. She hadn’t gotten to her choir room yet and the gardens she saw from the view of the window looked very interesting. “I wouldn’t want to get you into trouble by keeping you behind, but I’ve yet to check out my choir class and I’d really like to see the gardens. I’ve never seen such a well kept garden before.” She admitted, a fascinated look illuminated from her eyes.

“You won’t hold me up! I promise! That sounds like a wonderful idea, I will show you around as soon as we eat. The choir room is not far from where my club is held. So it will be easy for me to show you there and the gardens are very beautiful!” He stated happily.

“Well, as I’m not going to get you into trouble, than thank you.” She started to ease up on him. He seemed like a genuine guy who was eager to help out.

As soon as she was done eating, Angel waited for him to finish before getting up and heading off towards the music department. Checking the time, it would seem that there was only 15 minutes before lunch was over. Because she really didn’t want him to get in trouble for being late for class, she looked back at him.

“You’re sure I won’t get you into trouble for being late to your next class?” She asked. She could only imagine how strict a school as prestigious as this one could be.

Tamaki shook his head.

He isn't late for class often, and his teachers were normally quite fond of him, so he knew that being a little late won’t hurt him any.

“No I won’t get into trouble!” He stated happily

“Besides, even if they were to be cross with me, all I would have to do is explain that I was showing you around. The teachers are strict, but not unreasonable!”

He then gestured for her to follow, then proceeded to lead her down the corridors. They didn't have much time, and as much as he knew he wouldn’t be in trouble, he didn’t want to push his luck, so he took the fastest route to the gardens, which is only a short walk to the music rooms along with the choir room.

Eventually they arrived to the main gardens, he lead her outside near the main fountain in which was surrounded by said gardens.

The gardens were well taken care of, with large animal shaped bushes, and a slew of coloured roses, all around them.

Jen listened, eyes wide as she felt her heart thump louder. She looked shyly at him as she bit her lip
“I-Ive…i-ive…I-ive never h-had that happen…” she said softly and rubbed her arm
“Th-Thank you…” she stammered and mustered up a soft little smile and pushed her glasses up

“There’s no need to thank me!” He stated happily as he flashed her a happy smile.

Jen shyly smiled before biting her lip

“H-How long have you been at this school? A-Are you a 3rd or 4th year?” She asked softly, shyly peeking at him as she fiddled with her hair

“I am a third year, and I have been at this school for a long time now.”

“How about you? What year exactly are you in?” Tamaki asked.

Jen nodded shyly, listening intently with her sweet eyes looking up at him

She bit her lip and rubbed her cheek

“I-Im a first year…i-im not used to big schools like this” she said shyly and gave a gentle little smile

Tamaki carefully listened, as her voice was hushed and mouse-like.

She was incredibly nervous, so that left her seeming frail, as if she would shatter into one thousand pieces if he were to even look at her wrong.

“Ah a first year~! It is quite overwhelming being in such a prestigious school for the first time ever, but you will get use to it, and it will soon feel like home!” Tamaki stated with a cheery smile.

Hard breathing, shoes in her hands as she slid down the hallway in her socks, almost falling in her face many times. She was less than graceful, that was for sure.

Her father would definitely beat her ass if they ruined her hair. She pulled it to her side and finally made it to the host club, throwing the door and slamming it behind her with panting breaths. Theyd never act put infront of the hosts, over their dead body.

She looked around, the plush seats were empty, and she could barely smell any tea or cakes, her stomach rumbled a little at the thought, her mouth watering. She placed her shoes back on, and smoothed her dress.

Tamaki was alone in the Club room, setting up for the session that would be held in the next hour.

There was no particular theme today, so he was placing tea pots on the table with boxes of tea set next to it, so the hosts could brew tea for their ladies that they would see to.

He positioned the china teapot, which were adorned with soft pink roses, the tea was a simple selection of Earl Grey or peach fruit tea. Tamaki then placed the matching teacups face down in their saucer in each spot where a woman would sit.

Tamaki then placed a three tier cake stand in the centre of the table and placed little cakes and sandwiches on each tier. It wasn't long before he was done. However when he just finished placing the last food item down, he heard the doors open and close abruptly. No one was suppose to arrive yet, not for at least another hour!

Tamaki straightened up his blazer and turned towards the large double doors that would connect this room to the hallway, and began walking in that direction.

“Hello? Who is here?” Tamaki looked around the corner, expecting someone like Kyoya arriving early, despite having previous engagements.

Finally he sees another student, wearing the traditional daffodil yellow uniform assigned to every Ouran Highschool student, straightening out her dress. He was a little confused, but he could see that she was clearly distressed, and at a loss of breath.

“Oh hello~” He greets with his traditional Tamaki smile, brimming with charm, and just a dash of sparkle.

“Nice to meet you~” Tamaki states cheerfully as he extends his hand to her, offering for her to take it.

She flinched at his sudden movement, but calmly took his hand.

"I'm so sorry Tamaki, I forgot to look at the time," she lied through her teeth. "I didnt mean to burst in uninvited, I'm rely, really sorry," it's like she thought she would get in extreme trouble for her simple actions. Perhaps, she was just worried and embarrassed. It happens all the time.

Tamaki blinked at her sudden apologies and flinching, confused.

What happened? Did he do something wrong to startle her? Or was she frazzled before she entered. Something wasn’t entirely right in this situation. He never had someone react like this, ever.

He noticed that she really freaked out at his hand movements, so he slowly and gently placed his hands down, level with is hips, indicating no harm. He wondered why she reacted that way.

“No, no need to be sorry!” He stated, smiling at her reassuringly.

“I didn’t mean to startle you!”

Suddenly, a loud gurgling sound erupted between them. And it came from her.

Clearly she was hungry, and instead of reacting and making a deal of it he simply asked.

“Would you like some cake and sandwiches?” He asked softly.

Her face flushed.

Well that was fucking embarrassing.

She nodded gently, agreeing. She slowly followed him, and sat down, trying to stay as prim and proper as she could in this situation. She felt gross for doing that. Her hands clenched her knees, which were pressed together.

Finally, she shakily brushed her hair out of her face. "Thank you, Mr. Suoh..." she whispered, nodding her head.

She finally calmed down, able to relax and lean back into the seat, tea up in her lap between her slender and elegant hands.

"I didnt know you set up by yourself, Mr. Suoh...I wouldnt mind helping if there are other preparations not finished?"

Tamaki sat across from her, and began to spooning loose tea leaves into a pot, following with hot water.

He didn’t really want to overwhelm her, so he decided to use peach tea as most people take well to fruit tea over others, due to it’s sweet undertones.

He then gently took her side plate and placed her cup the right way up, and placed some small ham sandwiches on it, along side a petite blueberry muffin. He could see that she was practically starving, so he cut the middle man of her asking if she could have various things and served them to her.

He had dealt with nervous girls before, and this is what he would he would do to make them feel less overwhelmed, however, this was a different type of nervous, so he knew to tread lightly.

“No that's quite alright” Tamaki reassured her with a gentle smile, dialling back his normal excitable personality.

“I have done everything already.” He stated waiting the tea to brew.

She nodded, again pushing her brown hair back from her face.

"It really is a pleasure." She cracked a gentle smile, having dimples on her face. She always liked Tamaki, the way he was just so sure of himself, and lit up the room. He was so gentle and kind. But yet, she couldnt help but be afraid. He father was just like him, other then when he was behind closed doors.

She ate slowly, even if she wanted to shove her mouth full and ask for more. She kept her manners straight, hoping to impress him in the slightest.

Tamaki smiled gently at her as he poured some tea into a porcelain tea cup and placed it beside her.

“I haven’t had the pleasure of speaking to you much. If it is okay, I was hoping to ask what classes are you in? And what are your interests?” He was staying distant, not knowing how she’d respond to unwarranted flattery, feeling that she would retreat if he were to try.

Although it may seem like he is flirting or faking being interest in what his guests like, it really wasn’t the case. Tamaki loved learning new things about people, and if his guests tastes line up better with another host, he may recommend them on to them. After all, he simply wanted people to be happy.

Although she technically wasn’t there during host hours, and it was just them, he still was looking out for cues, or personality hints that would assist him in creating a joyous experience with him.

The new year of schooling had begun at Ouran academy, and there were already rumours going around about two teachers who were only the same ages as most of the students themselves. Word of course travels fast! But Tamaki didn’t really buy into rumours, after all, how many are really true in the end?
In the morning, he had his general classes, Math, Language studies, but there was a new subject on his roster in which he was a little surprised to see.
The subject was Biology, the school hadn’t really had biology avalible for his year level, normally it was reserved for the students doing their final year of study.
Nether-less, he was somewhat excited to experience this new subject.
He walked towards the classroom in which he would have to reside in for this class, and pulled the sliding door open. He was the first student to arrive, to his surprise- Maybe the other students got lost?- He thought to himself.
Upon stepping into the classroom, Tamaki noticed something strange about the teacher. He was a small blonde boy, being only as Tall as Tamaki’s shoulder.
“Oh! So the rumours are true~” Tamaki stated with his normal, whimsical voice.
“You are so small for a teacher! I mean no disrespect of course! I just never expected something like this to be true!”
image

“Who the fuck are you callin’ small!? Im still growin’ you know!” His accent messed up a bit of his japanese as he got worked up. Alphonse knew this normally ended with Edward getting into a fight so he instantly stepped in.

image

“Brother, calm down. Don’t be rude” He rested one hand on his older brother’s shoulder. They were about the same height, Alphonse was a couple of inches taller than Edward though.

image

“Yeah whatever. Go choose a seat.” He moved Al’s hand, golden hues shifting back towards Tamaki. Since he was wearing a tanktop, having taken his coat off, his metal prosthetic arm was in full view.

Alphonse felt the need to apologize for his brother.

image

“Sorry about that, brother reacts like that every time someone makes a comment on his height.”

Tamaki blinked at the sudden outburst he experienced from the short teacher.

Was he really going to be fit for teaching if this was they way he responded to students. He heard the apology from the other and simply smiled in response.

“That’s quite alright! People have their quirks!” Tamaki stated, his cheery mood not faltering as he walked towards a seat at the front of the room.

He settled his stuff on the desk and sits. He looks at the small teacher at the front of the room and notices something strange about him.

“I’m sorry if it comes off rude, but am I able to ask about your arm?” He directs a question at the strange teachers, hoping that there would not be another outburst.

“I would certainly like to say that I’m the second!” He stated confidently.

(He’s lying, Tamaki 100% would want and need to be babied. He is the type to certainly be babied. He thinks that he is dying when he has a simple cold)
