Amazing news!! They reached their goal of 100,000 USD! There is now a second goal of 250,000 USD! Remember, this is 373 games, assets, and comics for a minimum of 8 USD- a bundle of items which would normally be ~1,667 USD! Let's reach that second goal as quickly as we reached the first goal!
People have been asking why I made that pokemon poll the way I did. I originally had examples of what certain categories were pertaining to, like what babie was supposed to mean, but then when i workshopped it with my wife they said to, quote, "just let everyone kill each other in the comments"
Also there were several categories that got cut, such as "that's just an actual animal" and "that's just a person" and "gender" and "I don't know pokemon/i'm bald/some other infinitely nuanced answer" but i decided it was funnier to just put gengar. and the fact that gengar is beating every single legendary and both pikachu and charizard combined is worth the price of admission
the furry bait section was intended to be incredibly loaded, and i'm learning so much about what people think does or does not make for furry bait. Does Luxray count? Does Zangoose? Does Zoruark count as edgy or furry bait? Does it require bipedalness? Is Gardevoir furry bait or just horny? Much to think about
"but is Braxien considered furry bait or a starter more" its very telling which one of these aspects occurs to people first
the only categorical nuance i will comment on is mimikyu is not a weird one. mimikyu is edgy shit. dunsparce is a weird one. sometimes there's just a weird little guy who makes no sense
