#akoangtinig BLOG No. 4

  Thanks @kkbcalamba for this tweet.

If you can't stop thinking about someone, that means he or she is so special to you. (Uy, may kinikilig) Eh pa'no kapag yung "the One" na laging nasa isip mo ay nasa isip ka rin at never kang nawala sa isip Niya? Yup. Never. Not even once! (Ay, lalong kinilig!) 'Di ba mas nakakatuwa yun? Ganyan ka-sweet si Lord.

Sabi sa 1 Corinthians 13:3, "No matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love." True enough, the verse said it well. We cannot genuinely give without love. We cannot persevere through pain without love. And we cannot think of someone non-stop without love. All is worthless without it - because through it, all became worthy. Take a look at 1 John 4:19, nandun yun. Promise.

Dahil nga we're so special to God, we're always in His mind. At kasi we're always in His mind, we're close to His heart. And because we're close to His heart,  He lets us experience His Presence, His power, His magnificence, His grace, His mercy, His abundance, His might, His glory, His wisdom, His strength, and the list could reach forever (baka dumating na si Lord nandito pa din ako kaya OK na muna yan). Yan si Jesus. O 'di ba, san ka pa?!

He gave us everything, so what can we give Him back? Our everything, too. And, by the way, He wants "every thing" in our everything.  Mark 12:30 says, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." With all your mind daw, kaya I second the motion sa tweet na featured dito. We must train ourselves to always remember that He is around. Always.

So, what are we waiting for? Tara na! Let's spread His love! Saya kaya. Try mo!

I agree with Sec. Joel. Indeed, God is far more than a genie. There's no doubt about it! Why? It is because He is not limited to only three wishes. Sabi nga ni Jesus sa John 14:13-14, “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” So yung “whatever” at “anything” ang dalawang salita na nagpapatunay na He is not limited. O di ba, saan ka pa? But it will all be possible in His name alone and that what makes Him “far more than a genie.” But wait there’s more!

Here’s what the Lord said in that verse, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

Nakita mo ba yung three “granted” wishes? The first wish, “Call to me.” Who wouldn’t “wish” to confidently call on Him? Siguro naman wala. The second wish, “I will answer you.” This is what we always ask for before the Lord, we always “wish” His response. And the third wish, “and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Who wouldn’t “wish” fresh revelations from the Lord? These three are His promises and they are already given even before you “wish” for them.

But how about the “per second?” You can absolutely say “Jeremiah 33:3” in three seconds. Claim the promises of God in this verse, it’s yours!

This actually reminds me of a song from Casting Crowns entitled “If We Are The Body”. The chorus of the song poses a radical challenge to us believers. In Tagalog: tamaan, sapul. (Joke.)

But if we are the body

Why aren't His arms reaching?

Why aren't His hands healing?

Why aren't His words teaching?

And if we are the body

Why aren't His feet going?

Why is His love not showing them there is a way?

There is a way

We tag ourselves to be the body of Christ, yet more often than not, we fail to perform our functions as body parts.

Sabi ni J.I. Packer, “The task of the church is to make the invisible kingdom visible through faithful Christian living and witnessing”.

God doesn’t need us, yet He wanted us to take part in His glorious plan to save humanity. He chose you and me for this mission, kaya walang Christian na vestigial structure. (Naks, anatomy). God doesn't count one insignificant kahit feeling mo maliit lang ginagampanan mong role sa ministry.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.“ (1 Corinthians 12:27).

We belong to the same head which is Christ; therefore we must be unified in Him and through Him to accomplish the great mission He has entrusted us.

So ano pang inaantay natin? Let us be the body that Christ wants us to be. At kung feeling mo hindi ka pa handa, don’t forget that He has actually armed us with His Sword, gaya nga ng sabi ng ating nag-tweet.

“I never thought”

I never thought that God could create life so beautiful in this world so unworthy of His glory

I never thought that God could take a man from “Devilish Red Fiery Hell” and be part of His “Angelic Sky High Heaven”

I never thought that God could manifest His unfathomable greatness and reveals it to those who believe

I never thought that this God, in His sovereignty will pour out his grace abundantly

I never thought

I never thought

I never thought that God could hide great and wondrous things inside a dung and made it so precious to Him

I never thought that God could use water and fire to tear down and to pulverize, at the same time to build up and to sympathize

I never thought that God could make things possible even though it’s unthinkable

I never thought that this God is always available in this pre-occupied and unavailable world

I never thought

I never thought

I never thought that God would save me from the pit of eternal hell so that His Word might be tell

I never thought that God would use my mouth to proclaim the hope of His Word to this dying and fallen world

I never thought that God would make me a herald to this rebellious and disobedient people and yet jubiliating the justice of the Scripture to make wise the simple

I never thought that God would use me as His voice calling out His salvation and preparing for his much awaited return with so much anticipation

I never thought

I never thought

Your Identity in Christ

How you identify yourself determines how you approach life.

If you are what you do, you will always need to do more and achieve more to find your value.

If you are what others say , you will always try to please people instead of your Heavenly Father.

But if you listen to who God says you are, and then place his identity in you. You’ll find the freedom to live out all His plans for you.

God calls you…

     His child (John 1:12)

Wise and restored (1 Cor. 1:30)

     A new creation in Christ ( 2 Cor 5:17)

Chosen, holy and blameless ( Ephesians 1:4)

     His Masterpiece ( Ephesians 2:10)

Are loved by Him (1 Thessalonians 1:4)

Are made complete through the grace & mercy of Jesus your Savior (2Cor12:9)

So when you see yourself how God sees you, you will walk with confidence because you trust the One who answers the question, “Who am I?”

God Bless you beautiful creation of God!

An Extraordinary FX Driver

This photo was taken inside an FX. I rode an fx going home from a meeting. During the ride i noticed something inside the vehicle. Lots of books! and not just ordinary books. i tried my best to read the titles (gabi na kas, madilim na rin sa loob ng FX). They were all inspirational books. Joyce Meyer, Harold Sala, Joel Osteen and more.

And during the ride, we are also tuned in to DZAS 702, a Christian radio station. I felt so relaxed during the 45minute trip. And i know the other riders felt the same way too. For a long and tiring day this ride gave us a glimpse of home already.

Kudos to you manong driver :))
