“I’ve been reading a lot of speculation online as to whether I’m straight, or gay, or bi and it’s all these labels and it’s a little bit old fashioned, and this is why I’m not going to label it myself.”

I am SO incredibly proud of George! That video was nothing but real and honest. I can’t even imagine how intimidating and scary it can be to share that with the world without knowing the reaction you may get, especially in a world where people try to throw unnecessary labels at things/feelings they may not understand. It takes a truly brave person to be openly and unashamedly them-self and I am so happy that George is in such a place of confidence and content that he is able to do so. There is no reason for anyone to ever feel like they have to hide a part of themselves and knowing that George is ready to fully let that part show is wonderful. I can only begin to imagine the relief he feels after getting that off of his chest.

Also, I appreciate so much how George addressed labels and how he feels they’re unnecessary. There is always so much pressure from society to be a certain way and to fit in a certain box, so the fact that he isn’t labeling himself is such a great thing for people struggling with their feelings to see. This is a video that many people can watch to know that their feelings are valid and that they aren’t alone. LOVE is LOVE, and love doesn’t need a label. Being confused about your sexuality is okay and not fitting into a certain mould is okay. Just be you.

Overall, I’m just really happy that George is happy and himself (and also that he waited until he was 100% ready to share this). I’m so glad he shared another part of who he is and that he doesn’t feel like he has to hide from us. Everyone show him support/appreciation/love! He deserves endless love because he spreads endless love. #BeYourself 💜

I’ve been reading a lot of speculation online as to whether I’m straight, or gay, or bi and it’s all these labels and it’s a little bit old fashioned, and this is why I’m not going to label it myself. It’s not something I feel I can label. I’ve had girlfriends, that I’ve loved and have been amazing periods of my life. But I’ve also had boyfriends. And I just want you to know that whether I choose to be with a girl next or a guy next it’s because I love them, and that it shouldn’t be a big deal.
