She smiles at the agreement. "Oh, I know," she responds with a bit of a tease in her voice, leading the way towards the boutique she had in mind. Not exactly a cheap place, judging by the high-end establishments near it. "Anyone's eye in specific you want to catch?"

Judging by the light step she had even in those uncomfortable-looking shoes, she doesn't seem at all bothered by their height. Her gait is large and she doesn't even think to accommodate Liliane, seeing how easily she keeps up. She turns her head to the younger woman, her fair hair gliding across her shoulder. "Does he know you have his card, or is this going to be a pleasant surprise for him?"

"I wouldn't say there's anyone in particular at the moment, but it's never a bad idea to be catching some eyes." Well, except when she went undercover, but that was different story that Yaroslava need not know about right now. "Perhaps in time, I will find someone staring at me who's worth my attention."

Liliane looked up at her companion with a grin. "Oh he doesn't know yet, as far as I know. He's not terribly observant, you know? I think this will be a pleasant surprise for him when he gets his bill." And then Liliane will conveniently be out of Berlin for a week, unable to be found by Ludwig or anyone he might ask.

"That's the spirit—" She stands, not needing to be asked twice to spend someone else's money — and she doesn't even mind the company, she has always preferred shopping in pairs.

She hikes her purse over her shoulder, smoothing out her hair in the reflection of the hallway mirror and checking herself over once more [a small, but persistent, reminder of her vanity is her need to always look put together] before she beckons Liliane with a tilt of the head outside. Her heels click with each step, making no effort to refrain from drawing attention to herself; confident that the other woman will keep up. "You probably need a new dress, too, dear... There are never too many dresses in your closet when it's a man's wallet that you are digging into."

Liliane glances at herself in the mirror as she passes it too, and tucks her hair behind her ear. Though perhaps not as vain as her companion, she too knows the importance of looking nice, especially with where they're about to go.

She's not wearing heels today, so her footsteps are quieter. She's also not as tall, so she doesn't draw quite the same amount of attention, which she's fine with. She can keep up with Yaroslava at least, which is what matters to her. "Oh yes, I've been thinking of getting a new dress. I need something professional, yet...eye-catching. Something I can use to draw all the attention towards me when I walk into a room, you know?"

Well now he's blushing "I'm sure there would be some good left." He took a big bite of the cake.

"This is so good."

"Nope, it would be all gone. The birds would stop singing. Puppies and kittens would disappear. All would be lost if you were gone." She smiled. "Why thank you. I'm glad you enjoy it."

"we are talking about you and I. And I have a century experience and work, so I am paid more. If you are upset with the way woman are paid, write a report and I'll put it to the chancellor"

"Oh, so now it's ageism too? Sexism and ageism. You owe me double now." She huffs and folds her arms. "Yeah, I'm sure the chancellor will totally listen to me. That's all this inequality takes to be gotten rid of, right? Just a single letter to the chancellor? Please."

"Yeah.. that sounds about right. That's irritating how typical they are." Saima responds with a bit of an annoyed tsk. "But hey, at least you can get something over those types even as it gets old after a while. "

They reveal a slight smile at the compliment.

"Thanks. A secret.. honestly, I find myself keeping secrets of my own versus paying too much mind to others. But .. I have overheard some conversations, some pretty bad deals that are made to really .. screw over so many people. And I'm not even talking about the mess involved with governments either. It's interesting the kind of coded language people use to talk about it in relative public. "

Liliane leaned in closer, propping her chin on her hand, and grinned. "Oh? Do tell me more. You don't have to give too many details if you don't want to, but you have my interest now. I love listening in on a good conversation out in public, government affiliated or not."

Boots echoed through the halls of the brutalist building, followed by the sounds of paws trotting behind. She flipped through the stack of trade and manufacturing documents handed to her, feeling rather embarrassed by her tardiness. This was the first time she had set foot in Berlin on the behalf of her new agency but had spent a year and a half corresponding with the Berlin office to help achieve Kingsman's rebuild. Berlin had always delivered them the finest motor parts and arms.

Yuki, the mechanic's beloved Australian Shepard was all too excited to tag along. The Kingsman badge attached to her collar jingled at her every step. She could smell sausages from miles away and was fascinated by the people around.

Prior to Sora's transfer to the UK, she spent her 'retirement' from the field maintaining the Statements hangar. It was only when news of the destruction of their sister agency did Sora snatch the offer herself the position of the Kingsman Hangar Quartermaster. A position she had been fighting for at Statesmen.

After entering a rather cozy room, she greeted the members before shaking the hand of Agent Taube.

"Scotch," the mechanic greeted before her dog who sat at her feet also raised her paw. "Forgive my timing, there was some turbulence on our flight."

Agent Taube nodded with a smile. "Quite alright. It can't be helped." Her eyes found their way to the little dog beside them, and her smile grew. She leaned down to gently shake her paw. "Ah, you must be the top agent here," she said jokingly, "What a pleasure to meet you."

She stood up straight and clapped her hands together once. "So! I'm sure you're wondering why you're here, and why I'm here. Well we don't have any time to waste. Let's all sit down, and I can begin."

As everyone took their seats, Agent Taube brought up her presentation. "I won't waste time on niceties or beating around the bush," she said. "There is a threat looming over all of us, quite literally."

The screen showed a picture of a man with a long scar running down his face. "This is Markus Miller, aka the Dragon. He is brilliant, and terribly dangerous. He has plans to wipe out half the planet's population and subject the rest to his control. And, he is about to come into the means to do it." She looked at her audience in the room, to see if they were following her so far.

He shrugged. "I just felt it"

"Right, okay." She rubbed the back of her head and sighed. "Okay, so...what if...what if I just felt like maybe...like maybe being a girl isn't entirely me? But I definitely don't feel like a boy? Does that make any sense?"

He checked his watch again. He had time, but he didn't want to discuss anything right now. "I'm sorry, I have an engagement. Do you need me to walk you somewhere?"

She had yet to give him a reason why she was there or who she was, and he didn't want to deal with her, frankly. The day had been long and he was tired

She looked at him with all the exasperation she was feeling. Okay, she knew he wouldn't recognize her in this time period, but did he really have to be as stubborn and as dense as ever? She sighed long and hard.

"Just, come here," she said, gesturing for him to lean down towards her. When he did, she whispered into his ear, "I'm Berlin." She waited, hoping that would spark some kind of interest in him for her plight.

The question made him pause. “…. Nothing too interesting,” he finally told her. “Just standing around next to an emperor.”

Back to the box lid which he had been trying to wiggle open. Somewhere in here might be some old fashioned supplies, the majority of things from his Bonn flat were given away or donated as soon as he moved back full time, but there was a box of nice curtains. He was pretty sure there was a box of nice curtains.

"Oh," she said, not bothering to mask her disappointment. "Well that's not...I mean...Well, it's not very exciting, is it? They really gave medals for that? Were they just bored?"

She set the box of medals down carefully all the same, and came over to help him get this new box open. Together, they managed to pry the lid off. "So, what's in here?"

"it's not, it really isn't," he assured her. "It was a mistake, they ran out of my preferred flowers and substituted roses instead"

She shook her head with a sigh. "Oh, Ludwig. I wish I could live in your world, where everything is so mundane and innocent. What a blissful mind you must have." She turned to leave. "But I live in the real world, where nothing is as it seems. I'm going to investigate and put an end to this poorly planned assassination. That's my job."

Resi finishes her glass and puts it down as well. She turns to Lily and passes her a small smile before moving towards the fireworks. "We have known each other for ages so call me Resi." She tells the blond as she looks at the fireworks. Shaking her head at Lily's question she answers, "No, I haven't. I am usually a spectator, not a releaser."

It looked simple enough and Resi knew that she would be able to release the fireworks. "Just show me once and afterwards I will be okay."

"Fine, fine, Resi. Just come over here and watch." She waited until she was standing beside her and then she crouched down. "You see this thin rope? You just light it on fire with a lighter, like so." She did just that and then took a few steps back. "Make sure you're not leaning over it when it's lit. You don't want to get hit in the face by one of these."
