Ebony heels clicking on the last step, bright red dress falling back into place from where her fingers had picked up the skirts to herself from falling over the stairs, the young woman finally straightened up and smiled a dazzling greeting to the guests around her. One of her favorite things about Gotham was its rich and fanciful parties, especially the masquerades.
A hand was offered to her as the music in the ballroom began, and Raegan made sure that her mask was still in place before staring up at the stranger who had offered it.
there was nothing more FUN than crashing a party. the build up, the climax and the aftermath. of course, jerome’s definition of crashing a party was much more...v i o l e n t than others. there would be gasps of SHOCK, followed by blood and hopefully screaming. the guests were in for a show tonight!! what was even better about these parties, was the anonymity. HEY, you could be talking to your classy neighbour, your butler or a psycho killer. not that anyone suspected there to be a killer on the loose at their OH-SO-FANCY parties. ha, wait ‘til they got a load of him.
but for now, jerome had to occupy himself. the build-up. he spotted the PRETTIEST one in the room, from what he could see, and took her hand. confidence is key!! thankfully, the stranger couldn’t see him completely. wouldn’t wanna ruin the surprise, in case she recognised him.

slender fingers swiftly, as well as SUBTLY, unhook the necklace from the woman before him. she doesn’t even notice — job well done. of course he could run away and sell it, but where was the f u n in that? he likes a REACTION.
“HMMM, let me think about it.” he muses, lolling his head to one side as if he actually has to think about handing it over. no way. “NAH. i like this necklace. i’m sure it’ll look much b e t t e r on me anyway.” he spoke, grinning.
