i was on ig this morning and his profile is changed and posts are being made misgendering/misnaming him.

im worried abt his safety and am unsure of the legitmacy of the posts mentioning an accident. i know hes had trouble with his mom in the past and i believe that is who is making the posts.

His mom has taken control of his social media and has taken his phone. He is fine and he doesn’t have the brain damage his mom says he has.

His mom won’t let me or Noah speak to him. She blocks anyone who says she’s wrong and putting him in danger from her account and Jason’s account. I fear he is in danger.

Any account tied to Jason has most likely been compromised and all responses posing to be him are his mother.

she’s also withholding his hormones from him and stolen all of his communication devices, which is illegal because he is 25. we’re not sure if his mom is holding him in her home against his will or if he simply has nowhere else to go due to a lack of funds (we have no way of contacting him). daisy tried calling the cops on her, they went to the house and did absolutely nothing and provided no information, because cops are trash.

jason was not in an accident and does not have brain damage, he is still very much a trans man, and everything posted on all his social media saying otherwise (and saying he hates his boyfriend noah and his best friend daisy) are lies posted by his abusive mother.

I was in line at Aldi and this girl with two toddlers in front of me had her card declined and she looked so fucking sad and said “let me call my husband real quick” and it was only 18 dollars, so I just paid for it, and she was very sweet and then as she walked off, the lady behind me said `”You know that was probably a scam, right?” and like, even if it was, like what a sad fucking scam, right? 18 dollars at the Aldi. If you’re “scamming” me for some Tyson chicken and apple juice and cauliflower, then just take my fucking money. 

“A scam” people are fucking wild.  

This happened to me, too. A woman had used WIC for the majority of her stuff (which I say from personal experience is such a long and embarrassing process) and to buy the remainder of her groceries, which included diapers and wipes, she used a card, and it got declined. I bought the other $30 of her groceries because hey, I’ve been there, and now I’m not. She was extremely emotional and began to cry and even hugged me. My mom called me on the drive home and could tell I had been crying myself, asked what was wrong, and when I told her what happened, she berated me for being “duped.” I couldn’t believe she could be so disappointed in one of her children for doing something- nice? Is that the hill you want to die on? Getting mad about people needing groceries?

I once paid for a woman’s bill at the vet…it wasn’t a big one, but she was trying to pay for some medication for her dog, and her card was declined. And her lip started trembling, and she says “I don’t get paid until Tuesday, would he be ok until then?” 

So I just told them to add the $20 something onto my bill, and I thought she was going to break down crying right there.

And I don’t care if it was a scam or not. Just do nice things for people sometimes.

What I say: Country music blows

What I mean: Modern country music, especially songs sung by modern male country artists, revolves around similar themes of toxic masculinity and nationalism. The recurrent lyrics referencing guns, trucks, beer and girls in short shorts are uncreative and not entertaining in the least. However, older country artists and folk rock bands such as Creedence Clearwater Revival and Johnny Cash have stronger, more diverse themes and often carry an overt anti-war message. I hate the fact that what was once an interesting and powerful genre of music has now been claimed by gun-toting conservative bearded dudes, and it hurts my heart to say I hate country music when there are so many country artists that I very much enjoy, but cannot state the fact that I enjoy country music without being associated with the aforementioned group.
